How To Clean Your Engine Bay At The Carwash For Beginners - With Meguiars #cardetailing
Here I clean the engine compartment.
First I spray the engine with water so that all the sand and dirt is gone. Then I spray it really well with Meguiar's Engine Clean. Here I rub it well with a brush, you can take as long as you want. Then I spray it off well with water for safety at a distance. As a final step I use Meguiar's Engine Dressing. You can just leave this on when you don't use the car anymore or you can rub it well with a microfibre cloth.

Yea once he pulled out the hose I was like Nope that's wrong u neva know electrical wise what might happen, and I was waiting for him to pull out the microfiber towel to wipe the engine bay down and they didn't happen the moisture I guess went away or evaporated

Good day, Make sure the engine is always cold. Place a microfiber cloth on the battery terminals and alternator. Dry the engine thoroughly with a blower or, if it has been washed, let the engine run for a while. Beware of electrical plugs. If you want to be safer, you can also simply use a garden hose with much less pressure.

Nice video. What brush is that you have? Is it quite stiff bristled? My 2p, the only bit of the engine bay to get cleaned regularly are the drainage holes. Thanks

Thank you, This brush is from Autoglym Hi Tech, this is a rim brush with synthetic threads that retain their stiffness. I only use this for the engine bay.

That video shows how not to wash your engine bay. It can lead to unpredictable consequences. I don't see the significance to take risk.
