I do the “lets see what I can do in 5, 10 or 15 minutes “ routine regularly. I live in a 3 story townhouse and also use the “up or down” method, stacking things near the stairs for the next trips up or down. Great helpful tips Mindy! We have our main living space that is very open and gets messy a lot. What I do is I get a laundry basket and put it right by the hallway and put everything that needs to go into bedrooms or rooms in the hallway in there. If I leave the space I am cleaning I get distracted sooo the laundry basket is a catch all place for things to go elsewhere. Then I carry the laundry basket and put the items that belong in the hallway rooms away. I hope that makes sense.

I also do timer cleaning, keep me sane so I understand where you come from with overwhelmed. My own tips : a catch-all basket to avoid back and forth and getting distracted while cleaning. Also a rule : Nothing goes in the sink. It took a few weeks for everyone to get used to it, but now we are not going back, not even thinking about it. That came from realizing as soon as one spoon was in the sink, everyone was considering it "free game" to add to it and not open the dishwasher, like a fairy will make it all disappear :) the last tip is a given : all hands on deck to help, mama's time is better used loving & laughing with you than chasing you with a broom

Mindy I can relate to the overwhelming feeling of having too much to do and not knowing where to start! I literally said that same thing to my husband this week 💕I’m 9 weeks pregnant with my 5th baby and feeling so sick and tired that the house and laundry has just gotten away from me... Hi mindy here's a good idea work's great get a t bag put it in a cup of hot water let it stew for a couple of hours then get an empty spray bottle and pour in bottle make sure you take t bag out and off you go cleans mirrors work services and so on its fantastic lots of love Melanie xxx

My house is tiny we have one bathroom and small rooms so it doesn’t take long but the thing I struggle with is dust especially on the blinds they’re wooden so it shows up the day after I’ve cleaned them 🙄. I’ve read blogs about cleaning rotas and if I dusted or vacuumed once a week my house would be grey with dust. 😒
