Great video Brett! I live in Utah, and I put RV antifreeze in my chiller to make sure it doesn’t freeze. I have never done all the maintenance you do, but I’m doing it today! I have the same machine as you - almost. My chiller isn’t incorporated in my machine, it is a separate unit, so maybe just a tad bit older - but not much. And I don’t use it in a business - yet… One question - did you upgrade your air assist, or do you think the built-in AA is fine. Personally, I think it’s fine - but I have limited experience.

Thank you very much! I’ve upgraded my air assist to an air compressor and solenoid switch which I really love. The stock air assist is OK but with the upgraded setup I can turn it on/off through lightburn and also adjust the air pressure. An added bonus is that it doesn’t run all the time like the stock setup. It only turns on when a job is run. I like the ability to fine tune the pressure when I’m engraving or crank it up when I’m cutting.

No sorry I don’t. Search for a guy named bearded builds, he has a great one.

If you're cleaning mirrors (z axis anyhow), remove the lens so any debris that comes loose will not fall onto your lens and burn into it :)

That would be rare but I can’t argue it would be best practice. Thanks for the tip!

How many hours do you have on your machine at this point?
@LaserGarage Жыл бұрын
Per the controller I’ve had the laser on for about 60 hours and ran 1200 jobs.

@@LaserGarage My 100 watt with built in chiller is in route. Thank you for your excellent video.

@@danglyreprap4206 Did you upgrade to 100 watt? I have an 80 watt machine and I'm wondering if, when the time comes, I can upgrade it to a 100 watt. Thoughts?
