This cleaning/dusting is something that needs to be done several times over the life of a PC. I recommend to get a set of ESD safe brushes and use them to loosen up the dust before blowing it out of your PC with compressed air or w duster. It helps with the stubborn dust that can get stuck in filters, fans, heatsink fins, and nooks and crannies I also recommend never to go anywhere near your components with a vacuum cleaner as they can cause static damage

To make your case stay clean for longer, make sure your case fans are setup in a positive pressure configuration to minimize dust buildup in the case. To accomplish this, have more fans drawing air in than exhausting air, and have the intake fans covered with a filter. This way, any places that aren't covered with a filter will be blowing air out rather than sucking air (and thus dust) in. The filters will catch the dust before it has a chance to get into the case. Remove the filters and vacuum them monthly for best results.

But this is at the cost of your pc becoming potentially hotter, right? Since the fans don’t blow out the air inside the case

Mine is awesome. I'm not a pc guy by any means. so take my opinion at that, but I play Ready or Not, Fallout, Skyrim, and have even ran VR games. Re4 Remake... you get it. For someone who wanted a prebuilt PC that plays modern games, mine as been awesome. I didn't mind paying a bit more for a prebuilt, though doing the math I would have saved maybe 100-200 bucks at most. Mine is a 3070. Great PC.

use an old fashioned painters brush that is new and has never been used for painting, that will clean and remove a lot of dust, and use a hand vacuum next to were your cleaning so it picks up the dust that doesn't fall immediately

I was wondering if there was also a way to open the front of a Gaming RDY SMRBG203 case. I cannot find it on your store or any videos on it to clean it. i have no idea if that is the exact pc i have but it was the most identical one i could find. Ive had mine 3 years and have never been able to open the fron part to clean the fan area..

I have a slate 2 and I am confused on how to remove the metal panel. I got the front and the glass panel off, but when I get to the metal side and take the back screws off I feel resistance when I try to pull it. Is there something im missing?

I have a dust screen in the front of my case. It’s almost like a toaster slot. But I can’t pull the screen out. And I can’t get in to clean it. How do I access it? Even when the case is open I can’t reach it because it’s in between the fans and the front glass of the case. And the front glass is unmovable.

Perfect explanation; thank you for the reality check I have a mesh front coolermaster PC case which also has a top and bottom filter and the inside of my PC is still caked with dust. I can't help that I live in a dusty room and I hardly ever clean it - yeah i've lost all self respect. Would this work? I thought to drape something like mosquito netting over the case, speakers and the desk it all sits on (monitor sits forward and below the case) - that netting should work, right? Create sort of a outer filter to clean the air that gets pulled in? Hope you can advise. Thanks again

Make sure your case fans are setup in a positive pressure configuration to minimize dust buildup in the case. To accomplish this, make sure you have more fans drawing air in than exhausting air, and have the intake fans covered with a filter. This way, any places that aren't covered with a filter will be blowing air out rather than sucking air (and thus dust) in. The filters will catch the dust before it has a chance to get into the case. Remove the filters and vacuum them monthly for best results. It also might help if you install good quality filters in you home a/c intakes, which will cut down on household dust levels dramatically and make you feel much better! If you can, get thicker home air filters (2 inch thick filters are the best, but obviously get the thickest ones your intakes can accept)
