I turned off my PC at 9.30 am, and when I came back from work at 5.30pm, I tried to turn it back on, but my PC would not turn on. I took it to Geek Squad, and they told me that my PC is too dirty, and refused to open it up citing a health hazard. Someone told me that the most likely reason for my problem is that the power supply is clogged and needs cleaning. I have my life's work in my hard disk of my PC. Can this be salvaged? Also, what do you think of the problem and the initial diagnosis of a clogged power supply?

My pc turns on after jump starting my power supply, but it doesn’t seem like any plug in is stopping it from turning on with the paper clip inside. My mouse, keyboard, and monitor don’t show any connection despite my pc being on. Someone help pls

I will be attempting this next week when I buy a new power supply. I just upgraded my GPU after old card ceased to work. turns out the new card needs 550w and my supply at the moment is 500w. have no idea if my current supply is modular or not yet. question I have is will a new power supply come with the needed cables or will that be extra purchases necessary?

I ordered my second gaming PC from them last night. Last time it took just 4 day from order to delivery at my home. If you're going to customize that would obviously lengthen the time frame. I've really enjoyed the machine I have and it's still a beast, but I wanted to move into 4K gaming so I needed more powah baby!!

Ironic that the first search result to replace an AIO cooler is from iBuyPower when then AIO cooler I want to replace is a prebuilt PC from iBuyPower. I dropped off my brand new PC that I had for 2 days for repair because of a high pitch humming noise coming from my cooler that was driving me nuts. iBuyPower said they would replace the cooler with a brand new one. After I dropped it off for repair and they never contacted me to tell me it was "done", I only found out after a couple weeks when I contacted them and they told me its been ready and I never came to pick it up. THEY NEVER TOLD ME IT WAS READY. I pick it up, bring it home, plug it in, exact same sound. They didn't replace anything. Was a fraudulent repair and they LIED saying they replaced the part. I'll just change it myself since this company is completely incompetent and lacks any semblance of customer care. Admittedly I got a good deal for the rig, but the customer service and deception deserves an F grade.

I tried the jumper method and my psu still working and I try to connect them one by one still connect but after I stop the jumper and put 24pin to motherboard it won't turn on, so is it my mobo is dead or something else? I try to jump the power switch but it also don't turn on

For me, it seems like the cpu cable(i think) Is stuck behind the motherboard, do I really have to disassemble the motherboard aswell?😢

No way.. Did you guys really just make a video about replacing aios, and not show how to replace an aio? And all the while knowing damn well 35% of your customers will come here within 2 months of buying a pc from you, needing to replace the useless parts you sold us... This has to be a psy OP or something.

Of course. Make a power supply shroud for the looks but not take into account that it will now be more difficult for the user to take out or put in the PSU...

My pc freezes on boot sometimes it gets into Windows and freezes most times within the early 2-5 mins and the keyboard and mouse rgb goes off, i cant do anything in the state until i force restart. Sometimes when i get into Windows i can use the pc for over 7hrs and even play intense games without interruptions. And now most times the PC just boot into a state where the pc won't turn on but i can see the motherboard led and my cpu and case fans spinning and it would refuse to on even after several restarts Sometimes after i leave the pc for while and come back later it just comes on and the same loop continues, what could be wrong and how can i fix this?
