I live in the Palm Springs area and are looking to start cleaning solar panels, with that said temps out here in the summer get to 115, sometimes even in the evening. Is there any special precautions other than starting early when there’s no sun in the morning that I should consider? Thanx
@joseluisperezjr32852 ай бұрын
As long as the water your gonna use is not extremely cold you should be okay , but none the less cleaning in 115 weather probably isn't safe for you I've clean panels at around 100 degree weather ams they where fine

Do you make the deionized water yourself? Also what would be the best alternative to deionized water if you could not afford it?
@MB031 Жыл бұрын
Highly filtered rain water is basically deionized water, it's TDS 0 !!!!! Free to everyone.

I use distilled water if I decide to clean mine. Which is never anymore. At first I was cleaning them every 90 days but never noticed any gains whatsoever. So as long as I generate all of my needs there's no reason to clean them. My 20.4kwh battery bank is charged anywhere from 11:30am to 1pm depending on how cloudy it is. Maybe if you are into Net Metering and are too cheap to buy batteries you may want every single watt you can get so your power company can sell it to your neighbors.

the deionized water is so you don’t get those dry water spots. companies use squeegees so they don’t have those spots n have them squeaky clean like the deionized would
@socalsolarpanelcleaningcompany2 жыл бұрын
We don't use squeezes there a complete waste of time and energy and will scratch the glass as deionized water wont… and if you clean 5000 solar panels at a time your wasting money 💰
@socalsolarpanelcleaningcompany2 жыл бұрын
Also if you are using the proper equipment you will never ever use a squeegee ever! This is why are company cleans 5000 solar panels at one time
