Todd this makes me very happy! I love it when you are cutting in a driveway, creating a driveway, grading a driveway.... anything with a driveway! I am pleased!

Thanks again for showing us how it’s done. Great technique working with - instead of against - the land. I hope your 2024 is unfolding to your satisfaction.

Millions of years ago when glaciers moved over the land they moved the rock and fines just like a wash out . That’s why where I live on cape cod there is less rock on one side and the other side is very sandy digging. Great video Todd 👍

Curious does the hillside beside the road pose a threat due to water runoff? Are you installing culverts in lower spots? Only asking because i watch these videos almost as if i was doing the job, and what i may have to factor in the bid, and obstacles i would see coming. Good video thouraly enjoyed these.

That technique you used to build up and reinforce that outside corner was most interesting, wish that part wasn’t sped up.

Thanks for the feedback. I try for a good mix between real time and Timelapse.

@@DigginLife21 I’m learning technique from every video, your business model is exactly my goal, one man, 2 machines, 1 dump truck. Problem is I’m old, so I have to learn fast, thank you for helping me do that.

Would like to know how you determine a grade and path to follow when looking at virgin ground. We're looking at building up on a hill but want to avoid washout(s) when it rains. Love your channel

I have 12acres, one side has a lot of small chips of rock and can drive on it 5min after it rains but cross the creek and quartz is everywhere but its soggy all the time. Both sides of the creek the land has about a 4” drop for every 30’, if it rains a few days you best wait a week or two before venturing across the creek lol

If I had to choose one machine. It would be an excavator... With a jack hammer,, Ripper, tilt bucket and a rotating grapple.
