@@Jake-n8m3n Well you probably lack any defense other than high hp and res. If you try to play around capped dodge/block, trust me you will almost never die. Also you can't expect to tank everything if your map have like -max res and 3+ dmg mod.

I hope there's an episode about actually going through the passive tree. Like, when to go for crit or not, when it's worth going for a notable and that stuff, what actual defense do you want (like when to go for block vs dodge) or when is better to go for area damage vs damage type for example. It's the most difficult thing for me when trying to make a build.

take the time to set up a POB. Equip your gear, make your gem links, choose your ascendancy, and then you can just compare your dps to see if you should go crit or not

I think most new players should learn to level act1 through act4, the rest of the acts leveling rely heavily on what you learn while leveling in the first 4 acts.

In my experience with dweller, if you're a Marauder it's probably faster to kill Brutus first cos you can then do dweller with leap slam? I've been able to do it and keep the portal and just go from the prisoners' gate WP. Is this also how you do it?

I haven't been to that part of the video but I can only imagine he is talking about the flad added ele dmg wand recipe. this recipe is fucking BUSTED, since most of the fast leveling builds revolve around using an elemental damage spell early on, but also mostly through the entire 10 acts. I can not stress enough how IMPORTANT this recipe is. You vendor a blue/magic wand + an orb of alteration + a topaz, sapphire or ruby ring to get a magic wand with flat added damage of the respective element (topaz=lightning, sapphie=cold etc.). The tier of the damage roll will vary depending on the rarity of the ring. first you use a white ring to get a wand that requires lvl 8, then a magic one to get a wand with a higher tier and lvl 14, then at 20 a rare ring (idealy you use bad essences to make it rare). This is why its so imporant to be lvl 20 before act 2 boss. You ideally want 2 of those wands at all times, tho having enough alterations to do the lvl14 craft is sometimes hard, so I skip those alot. But the lvl 20 craft is better than +1 lvl to gems till at least act 4 or 5, if not even later. also you can always craft a resistance on these wands, as long as you haven't augmented them with a suffix (which you should never do for this reason). highly recommend

Isn't there a penalty on drops for being more than 2 levels over? I know the focus here is on leveling and exp, but drops are discussed as well and this seems worth mentioning.

no idea about what you're mentioning, but when you're playing around tyty's level or even within a couple hours of him, you're only concerned with ~10 specific currency drops, and then getting res/life on your proper links. drops really aren't that relevant.

Item quality only affects base stats of an item So for armour it's es, eva and armour Weapons it's phys dmg

hi Ziz, great content as always. i have been playing the game since it came out on console, i prefer the controller an i have already invested alot in to tabs, so switching is waste. anyway my burning question. i tried following a lot of build guids but i have never made it past red maps. furthest i made it was t13 on a PF miner. and once i get stuck it is a hell to get unstuck. good items that cost so much currency that i would have to grind for hours to make it, again console so different economy. so lets say i would like to craft my own gear. without multimod cause i have never even gotten there. so just an transmute, alt , regal and then craft a mod. how much damage, life/ES do you need to beat the game? is it possible on all lets say blue gear with tier 1 or 2 rolls and crafted mods? i am really demotivated cause now the game gets even harder and i havent even made it to sirus yet. lets say harvest has good crafting options can you beat the game with just T1-T2 DPS, LIFE/ES and RES? if not, what is a fast way to farm currency to fix your build if you have not made it far in to maps i get frustrated at how rng and complex this game is. is it just me?

@@wateengeauwehoer control is way better and thus gameplay will be more engaging and have more depth. As for "most players", it does you no good to think about what most players do. You can clear red maps if you research a decent build and put in the time to farm a little for it.
