You need to understand that once you clone a website and upload on your cpanel you are copying all the data of that website and the only difference with the one you clone and yours would just be the name, this is when you can start editing. So if the website is having a portal, you are also cloning the original data for the portal from that website which you don't have the details to access that portal.

I just want to display the website to give the customer a clean look at all of the features which includes dynamic content ( a moving screen showing features). That’s better than just a screenshot of the webpage. I want to remove navigation buttons and references to os ect. No login required but if I could use one button (renaming it ) to go to the programs site without initiating a download that would be great. I’ve tried to work with this developer to have my plug in (template) link as a separate site but but he doesn’t seem interested. This should generate more sales for him.
