What is difference between coding and registering???
@bmwsolutions78804 жыл бұрын
B When you register, the car recognizes a new battery. You need to code when you can't find the exact battery your car had. For ex. Your car may have a 90ah amg battery but you bought 95ah, so you need to code it as 90ah battery on bimmercode. And also register it as the same battery on bimmerlink or any other software. However, some code it with the new battery specs as in the video but your car electronics may have a problem with a higher Ah coding, so I'd always code it to my car battery Ah capacity just to be safe.

My old batt lasted Im gussing 7 years (I have a 2014 model year, stamp on the - terminal's stamped 36/13). The old was 90Ah, the new 92Ah.
