Something I want to try is giving my notes to Chat GPT and have it produce multiple choice tests around them and the subject matter. I can then quiz myself later. I find that just a simple multiple choice quiz helps me commit things to memory or form a deeper/stronger connection

I was reminded of your channel at exactly the right time when I sort of need to start over the digital part of my notes. I am definitely a physical notebook and write by hand kind of person, it helps me think process and remember things better but digital still has the advantage of connecting and referencing old notes. Thanks for the thoughtful video and sharing your insights.

I hear ya. I used to journal in physical notebooks and I really saw the benefit. I may need to revisit and see how the physical can be integrated into my digital system. Thanks for the comment!

@@Greg_Wheeler An easy way to test if it might work for you; is just folding a piece of paper into a pocket mod/zine and sticking it into a pocket with a pen to carry around and catch stray thoughts before committing into buying an actual notebook. Mine still is just a few of these strung together travellers notebook style inside a simple cover. Easy to switch when they get full and stops me from being too precious about just doodling and scribbling things in. What works is so deifferent for everyone, but at least it is an option you might like to try.
