I can't believe what Gizmo did! Great video! There is some repetition between this and the basic correction, but I get why that is so. Great tutorial, I feel ready to color grade and I am so glad I didn't spend a lot of money on those lut packages I see advertised all the time.

thanks! Yeah there's a little overlap but I had to explain some things to some extend haha. LUTs can be great, if you know how to use them! But it's always best to understand this art and colour grade it in such a way that really fits your video.

Hey lila. I have a question about colour wheels. I use Vegas pro which has primary wheels(lift, gamma, gain, offset) but it didn't have log wheels(shadows, midtones, highlights). Premiere pro has both but Vegas didn't have log wheels. Is there alternative to log wheels? Is curves are alternative to log wheels?

I usually use the basic correction tab and the master curve to adjust the shadows, midtones and highlights :)

Which renderer do you use? If you use hardware encoding, try software encoding. It will take longer but maybe it solved the issue

If you are using a recent version of premiere pro, try enlarging the menu by dragging the left edge to the left. usually when people can't find it, it's because it's hidden :)
