Also, for anybody unable to afford copics, KZbin has a TON of artists who have and will do reviews of different, much cheaper markers that are similar. Looks them up, watch as many as you can and when you see an affordable brand you like, look more into it, look at reviews for that specific one and go from there! It doesn't hurt to start somewhere and I'm sure it'll be worth it if you really wanna take this step forward in traditional art.

ItzJackFrost14 I bought 'dodgey' alcohol markers online that weren't any known brand and it was $80 for 160 markers (though there were smaller and cheaper packs). Although they aren't copics or any professional brand, and although I chose to get markers without a brush tip to save money, the effects that I can get from using them are just as good as the effects from Copic markers I've used. It may also be important to note that I am a complete beginner to alcohol markers, so if I can work with off-brand copics, anyone can. Look on Amazon or Ebay and you'll surely find a good deal :)

I start using Alcohol based markers because of Jazza before I only used coloured pencils or pastel, but since my budget is limited I start looking for alternatives first option was Touch markers from Shinhanart but I found out tht even though they were as low as 60% cheaper than copic they did not have the brush tip instead they had a fine hard tip... Don't get me wrong quality is quite good for the price you pay and they are great as starting point to practice all Jazza's tricks and tips... Then I got a set of the Touch pro which are kinda the premium Shinhanart markers and these ones have the brush tip which give you the full colouring experience very similar I believe to that of the copic markers these are as low as 40% cheaper than copic more or less and they are great... I am happy with them only issue there is no blender marker... But other than that very happy... Thanks Jazza for inspiring 😎😎😎

I've had a love/hate relationship with alcohol markers as trying to get an even tone has needed so much speed, it was stressful, plus going over and over was so much armwork, it hurt (I get rsi easily, do a lot of stretches), so these tips are useful. The ink went blotchy in this once you put down some of the blending, for how expensive these are and how everyone raves about them, that doesn't look so good.
