How to Comb Coil | Traditional Starter Locs | Determine Size & Parting

I did my traditionals 15 years ago. I now have micros (545)that i started back in December. I started them both as plaits so i didn't have to deal with the unraveling. Good luck on this journey

I love it! How many do you have? I have 210 locs and i maintain them by retwisting. It’s really manageable :)

Aww thank you!🩵 I was uncertain on the size and method for my new journey… still figuring that out before fully committing 🙄… I know it’s definitely over 160 but didn’t count them. I love the feel of the retwist and find it quite satisfying🤤 lol!!! I know your hair is Beautiful!!! Thanks for tuning in, I definitely have to figure this thing out!!!

Hey “Best Friend”!!!! 😝😘Girrrrlll… let’s get to the wash first and then we can really talk. But yes the plan is to Retwist at the beginning… and maybe later later switch to a retie once this head starts to form these locs. These are still rather small to me, well it appears that way now… but after they swell I can really see how I’ll proceed! I’m just trying to keep them in, that’s the real focal point!!!🤦🏾‍♀️ Always glad to have you here in the building!!! Hope all is well!❤️❤️❤️
