Is there a fake phone number app for asian people or indian people?

I got my daughter to understand what signal protocol is, and we both agree that it's going to be hard to convince her friends to change, especially if anybody retorts that whatsapp uses signal. We just don't think it's something we can convince her friends is part of their threat landscape. However, you're serious has been awesome and I'll keep sharing it so that maybe others share it with their kids and maybe we can slowly start their path to understanding and demanding privacy! Thanks

Same. Too bad nobody I know wants to use either, and many services really don't like ProtonMail.

@@cldream Yep. But for the ''many services really dont like protonmail'' thing, never happened to me, but i would recommend just creating accounts on many different private email services like tutanota and mailfence etc etc and trying if one of em works

I don't think Firefox Send is available at the moment. It was but has been taken down for refinement.

Question: Does E2EE also prevent my phone (i.e. Samsung), Google, and phone carrier from seeing the content of my messages & calls?
@techlore4 жыл бұрын
Tricky question. Yes, in theory E2EE means only you and the recipient are viewing your message. The ‘man in the middle’ is in theory out of the picture. However, endpoint security is still important. If someone is able to access your phone in person in an unauthorized fashion they now have access to your messages. Similarly, clients & and operating systems have the ability to collect data as well that may not be the raw message data. WhatsApp & Skype are two easy examples of services that implement E2EE but there are still valid concerns behind using them.

You should have mentioned Discord and how insecure it is. That was a let down for me trying to get my friends off it.
