Was thinking about the Ruined capture and heard him say that he wrong warped to the odyssey platform in metro. I have no clue how wrong warping works in SMO, but could it be theoretically possible to wrong warp to the rocket warp on the dragon platform?

The wrong warp in metro is a weird case that involves the pipe not knowing where to warp so it takes you to the Odyssey. Unfortunately that wouldn’t work in Ruined

Yeah there's been a lot of speculation about how to get Mario to the arena or trigger the dragon from elsewhere, but so far nobody's found anything that could reasonably be done without mods. I believe only certain pipes and doorways in kingdoms you reach early can be used for wrong-warps. Maybe it's only that one.
