Thats because it is an average of all of your gems, from certain category. You just have to keep leveling up the gems, which you get with the crates that open after finishing a level in the rifts, completing quests (I think I got one on a daily quest today) or getting to the different marks in the rifts like I think for the Joker one is from up to a 100 and for the gremlin one is 15 up to 80. So un summary just keep it going. (I think you also get gem crates in the battle pass but those are for Jason's rift, so those won't have an impact)

Ye for sure, I'm only Gem level 3.6 and haven't been able to get any of the cauldrons since I don't have anyone to play with which is rlly frustrating. Im sure eventually once Jason's rift opens up and we get the last difficulty it'll get easier. But rn the progression is really slow (and rather demotivating imo)

Yeah for crushing and forward you definitely need a teammate. if you don't you have to play for a win and you can't even focus on the crystal rewards cause it would be way to difficult, I'm going to grind my gem level from the daily rewards in the lower levels until I can do a decent amount against crushing difficulty by myself because all my friends say PvE is boring to them lmao
