How to completely disable advanced trac mustang

If the process described in this video doesn't work for you, you may be forced to use a handheld tuner in order to do this (most of us have one already, right?). The car tin this video is at least a 2010 (you can tell by the rectangular vents in the center of the dash). The steering wheel (single row of buttons) indicates either a 2010 or low-optioned (V6?) 2011-12 . V6 S197's earlier than 2010 did not have traction control (I don't think).

i cant find anything on unplugging a fuse or something to disable it. is there a way?

You shouldn't have too unplug a fuse if you have a 05 to 14 you push the break in and without letting go of the break push and hold the traction control deventually it will say advanced Trac off or the traction control light will flash twice

When you turn off the advance trac off does it give the car more power to race.

theoretically yes, but your wheels might just spin with all the power to the wheels and not really grip.

No. It just won’t cut power when ur tires start spinning. Tcs cuts power to the wheels when it senses that u lost too much traction. That’s why it’s harder to do burnouts when u don’t fully turn off tcs. U don’t gain more torque or horsepower when u turn tcs off it just doesn’t cut it off

05 09 don't have advancetrac so when tc is off you have full power

There is just look closely at the button or display lights both are shaped like the rear end of a Mustang
