I think I might take some of your points I carry a cz p10s, and an extra mag, in the appendix position. I just find i am the most comfortable with it there, because when its on my hip or ass, I can't tell how bad I am printing and it defeats my purpose lol;

@@MichiganDad is it the compact? The shadow 2 has got to be my favorite all time firearm. Everything I obsess over on sidearms, the shadow 2 does obscenely well in lol

Lot of good info. I do agree starting on a subcompact is not a good idea. Those guns are so small it makes is hard to decide if accuracy or speed deficiencies are from the shooter or the gun. Additionally, small adjustments to grip, etc. are hard to pick up on subcompacts. But don't worry. Most end up will end up with a box of holster and a couple of pistols.

question, you said you have been carrying for about 13 years, and you followed your friends and got a 43x BUT 43x didnt exist 13 years ago.....

@@shusho0520 I didn’t get into KZbin till quite a few years after the fact. I was carrying a 1911 for the first handful of years then 19 gen 4 and when the OG 43 came out I carried that. Eventually when I got into KZbin it was when the 43x came out.

@@MichiganDad i understand, but if you had knowledge of pistols why would you listen to your friends and buy a 43x? you just said that you had years of experiance

@@shusho0520 Finding the right firearm is a journey not a sprint. I am always looking to improve my edc and make it better. Sometimes when a new firearm comes out, I fall for the hype and buy it instead of renting at the range. Years of experience doesn't mean everything on an industry that is continually evolving. Seems like in the last decade there was a boom of quality firearms coming out.
