Great, informative videos. Just really getting into restoration world and appreciate your insight. Have any experience, thoughts on using these ph balanced applications over saddle soap? Finding many forums with serious glove veterans that seem rather split on the issue. Sometimes I think the old guard just don’t trust the new stuff (Lexol orange, etc) and the younger shy away from the slightly more involved process and careful approach of saddle soap. The latter (maybe?) involving a much wider margin of error.

Love the channel and tips. Huge question. Where do you get your lace from, and do you tend to load up on local team colors and the basics, or do you grab a little of everything? Thx.

Get it relace and you will probably need to adds some palm adhesive in the palm, and maybe have the thumb and pinky HDPE plastic inserts replace as well.

Hey I'm in the UK, looking to restore my own glove. Do you have any tips and tricks for a first timer and also anyway to fix up the inside of the actual glove, so where your palm goes?
@mitchlums58116 жыл бұрын
Hey Tommy! Two quick tips I have are... - Start with the pinky and thumb - Don't tie your laces together until the entire glove is finished! or else the laces will get bent and crinkled I don't have anyway to fix up the inside other than take it to a leather repair shop
@TommytheHVC6 жыл бұрын

i got a question?? what would you use to clean a white glove? seems to be all the craze in fastpitch??
@mitchlums58115 жыл бұрын
harveygonzales23 find a cleaner withs ph neutral balance, that is made for light coloured leather! I think that's the best way to do, just to ensure your leather stays clean, also make sure your cleaning tools (brush or rag) are super clean
@hiiro24 Жыл бұрын
Water with palm Olive dish soap since it is ph neutral balanced.

the interior lining of my baseball glove is starting to crack due to sweat. Is this normal? Would conditioner help?
@mitchlums58116 жыл бұрын
I have the same issue! Conditioning it would be good! Just don't do it very often. My glove is way beyond saving haha
@hiiro24 Жыл бұрын
Yes conditioner will slow down the process of the hand stall cracking, I would recommend recommend wearing a batting glove underneath your fielding glove.
