Most present-day routers featuring a USB port can be configured to use a number of additional functions. For example, by connecting an external storage (for example, a hard disk) you can build your own server to keep videos, photos and other files. By configuring the storage sharing feature you will be able to access the files on such disk from any computer or mobile device within your network. And when you connect a printer to your router, any device within this network will be able to print out documents. Such connection lets you print from any device connected by Wi-Fi and sparing you the efforts of untangling all those wires and cables.

For the purpose of adding a printer : (1)Is it necessary that the printer should be wireless-capable? (2) Secondly, if the present Router Model does not have/support a print server, is it possible to add a printer( non-wireless) with USB Cable only.

I use this router Titanium-2122A and it has a usb port , I am not able to understand how to set up a print server, please can someone help ? The UI is not good

Here are some general steps you can follow to set up a print server on your router: Connect your printer to the USB port on your Titanium-2122A router. Access the router’s web-based interface by entering the router’s IP address in a web browser. You can usually find the IP address in the router’s manual or by checking your network settings. Log in to the router’s interface using the administrator credentials. Look for the section related to USB devices or print server settings in the router’s interface. Locate the option to set up a print server and follow the on-screen instructions to configure it. Once the print server is set up, you should be able to add the printer on your devices by searching for network printers.
