Hello, and thanks for your comment. We've removed that option from our plugin as Google no longer supports that mechanism. Rank Math will now automatically ping IndexNow, and all the IndexNow-enabled search engines will be aware of the latest changes on the site. Hello, thank you for your comment, A Sitemap does not affect the actual ranking of your pages. However, if it helps get more of your site crawled (by notifying Google of URLs they previously didn't know about, and/or by helping Google prioritize the URLs on your site), that can lead to increased presence and visibility of your site in our index. However, we recommend not to use two SEO plugins simultaneously to avoid potential conflicts, and henceforth you can disable Yoast SEO plugin while using Rank Math. Hope that helps. On "Links Per Sitemap" should we let them at 200 or we can add more up to 999? I have about 3k posts and would like to make it 1000 per sitemap if I can is it safe? Thanks in advance

Hello, Thanks for your comment. Yes, it is safe to set your sitemap to 1000. You mentioned that you have 3,000 posts, you can set the links per sitemap to 1,000, and Rank Math will create 3 subsets of sitemaps and Google will still be able to crawl these sitemaps. Earlier, the default value for this setting was 1000. But, we've observed that Google responds better to smaller pages in sitemaps. Thus, we've reduced the value to 200, which is our recommended setting. I have 4700 pages. What would be the best solution for my page sitemap? Would it be better to set the links per sitemap to 1000, or should I keep it at 200? then just create subsets for pagesitemap? Thanks in advance!

Hello, thank you for your comment, Google crawls small-sized sitemaps faster. With this in mind, Rank math uses the links per sitemap limit to break down sitemaps into smaller parts. You can also check Google’s guidelines for sitemaps: developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/sitemaps/build-sitemap That is why we recommend setting your Links per sitemap between 200 and 500 in Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > General Once done, remove all your submitted sitemaps and resubmit your main sitemap, then give Google some time to recrawl your site. Hello, Thanks for your comment. Can you please follow these steps? 1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast: i.rankmath.com/xXXhDt 2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server: rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/ Once done, remove all the sitemaps from GSC and add sitemap_index.xml and wait for Google to crawl the sitemap. This isnt correct, you have to first have the module enabled otherwise it wont appear.

Never use rank math XML site map. . They find non existent url that we don't even see in our website. They add everything in the website as a site map. Even the header, footer or everything. possible. Don't use rank math for SEO purpose. Just use it if you are lazy do some optimization manually
