What actually is an IP address of Internet 0/0 connection on WRT300N? You've only configured the default gateway, but what about IP address?

thanks for your query, this video is for a demo scenario- the overview of how we perform setup... as in this video the routers are directly connected and point to point ip of same network has been assigned from which it will reach it's gateway as ip has been statically assigned on lan which will get reachability to it's gateway.. @ 5:32 hope you got it...keep exploring

thanks for your query.... do assign ip address on internet interface of wireless router too. It will establish the connectivity and ICMP will be reachable...I haven't assigned there ip instead only gateway just to show how wireless configuration is done. yes it can be done. please find my other contents where i have shown ''how to configure DHCP server on cisco routers''. Once you are done with that then connect a lan cable to wireless router and then setup it as shown in this video for wireless part. let us know incase of any further query related. thank you.

thanks for your query... will make sure...the scenario is same...you can implement on this scenario setup too... make sure you have assigned gateway ip...assign ip on both interface gateway of router and pc each with same range ip of router's interface ip and check once

Hey, I am trying to ping a device like PC-PT PC0 from a device like PC-PT PC1, from the wired connection on the router to the wireless connection on the wireless router. I cant seem to get them to ping no matter what I do. I have tried playing around with the internet setting son the wireless router liek you said on some other comments, but I cant figure it out.

click on smartphone device--go to config--click on wireless and now input the same SSID name which you have kept in wireless router ssid--now click on authentication mode and select it's type and input the SSID Key and close it. first you need to have access over your router and then login to your wireless router from it's login details and then you can check the configuration and perform it if required.

yes we can and can be done. however in this scenario, it's not shown. also, we will need to perform routing on router for different network communication. simply a home area network (HAN). This is a typical Home Network Topology for eg; consisting of L3 internet gateway router, l2 switch for end devices connectivity via lan, wireless ap router to connect wireless devices and so on. please let us know incase of query related. Thanks for your query.
