HI, Sandeep I'm trying to power on/off amplifier from AV receiver. Normally just a 3.5mm - 3.5mm mono or stereo cable is enough but my amplifier is specific still uses 3.5mm cable but only on/off on "contact closure". 12v supply will be from AV receiver. hiii, generally com (common) is negative terminal (-), and NO (normal open), NC (normal close) these are positive terminals (+). when you connect timer relay to 12v dc, the component which connected to NC will get electricity according to the timer u set, meanwhile, the component connected to normal open will not get any electricity, so here when the time is up the electricity is cut off to the component connected to NC, and electricity start flowing towards the component connected to NO. (this cycle continues according to timer you set).

@@SashiRockzzhi, for 48v you have to connect 4 batteries in series. The module which I have shown in the video works on 12v. If you connect more than 12v, module will damage.
