How to connect a Gotek to an Apple IIc, Apple IIe, or Apple IIgs

I have finally got around to testing my gotek adapters and haven't blown anything up yet so that is a good start. I updated the HXC firmware to the Apple II version and copied your ProDos image onto a Fat32 USB along with the HXCCFG file for 'indexed' setup (no oled screen, just the original 7-digi screen) and the computer will not boot. Just get 'Err' on the GoTek screen. Everything else is wired up as you have in the video (TX/RX leads and S0 jumper). Any suggestions?

I've never seen that. They do have a troubleshooting and the developer is usually pretty responsive to questions and posts his email hxc2001.com/docs/gotek-floppy-emulator-hxc-firmware/pages/troubleshooting.html

@@AnotherMaker Got it sorted. Removed the CFG file altogether and just left the disk images on there. Life also got easier when using an OLED screen and rotary switch.

@@abeagley492 Fantastic. Yeah. I actually just ran into that where the thumb drive had flashfloppy on at some point.. I had to delete all the config files and let them rebuild so it started behaving like an hxc.
