hi, did you test LIDL motion sensor ?
@HumanSuten3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately no, the only products our local LIDL had was the LED Strip and Power Plug. We only use the Philips Hue Bridge so i doubt it would be compatible with their sensor.

I made it work with the hue app but it wont integrate to apple homekit, is there a way?

Also with the Phillips Hue Bridge if you have Amazon Echo control of it you can control the plug directly via Alexa using the Phillips bridge. As I added my plugs to the Hue Bridge I got a popup announcing that the device is now available in the Alexa app and indeed they were displayed in the Alexa app when I next checked it. So tl;dr - Alexa control of Lidl Smartplugs via Phillips Hue Bridge

Got some really weird behaviour from this plug. I have 3 of these already and working great with Philips Hue Hub. But today I bought 2 more from LIDL, with same version and the one I already have. I can add them just fine, but they wont turn off! They can turn on, but not off. No matter how hard I try, they don't respond telling them in Hue App to turn off. The other 3 I have paired already, working just fine though, and turn off just fine. I tried factory reset and adding them again, but no luck. Any ideas?

Hey; same problem here. Did you solve it?
@anderssvard3336 Жыл бұрын
@@alexanderrosen4672 Didn't solve it. However! I did notice that the version number between the older ones and the new ones. There been some sort of hardware update/change in the new plugs. Probably at same time the new Lidl Home Smarthub came out. As I used the new smartplug from Lidl to turn on and off grow lights, I instead paired it with my Raspberry Pi Home Assistant. It could turn the plug on and off just fine. I also noticed there was posts about some people talking about same experience and some kind of update/change in code at the Home Assistant Forums.

I just bought a plug and connected it to my hue - I can turn it off from the app - but I can’t turn it off! The apps shows it as “off” for maybe like a second - then as “on” again. I have tried repairing several times - but problem stays. Have anyone experinced the same problem ?!

We see that it's connected. But the question is how because you do not explain at all.
@HumanSuten3 жыл бұрын
I don't understand at your question at all. The whole purpose of the video is to demonstrate how you connect the Smart Plug to Philips Hue. Follow the video and you will be able to connect it. If it's not connect then try to reset the bulb by plugging it on and off 6 times and then see of it pops up when searching for lights in the Philips Hue app.

Ho muh cost tht gateway? I bought fcking lidl plug didnt know it needs lidl gteway, or any gateway 😔 kinda noob right now
@HumanSuten3 жыл бұрын
The Philips Hue bridge costs approximately 60$, it's far better than the Lidl Gateway. That will let you connect up to 50 bulbs/plugs etc. It can suppot up to 63 bulbs but it will start to get more unresponsive if you go above the 50 bulbs limit.
