hey man tried the wired version since i cannot use bluetooth and the ps4 controller just goes straight into charging mode and wont connect and any time i hit the ps button it still wont connect

I'm not sure why this happens, but when I plug in my controller, the audio redirects to the controller instead of my headphones.

The way you fix it is on your computer, go to settings > audio (or audio devices or simply devices) > select your controller > hit disable on one of the first 2 options regarding audio. This way it won’t be allowed to be used as a mic or switch audio

@Nano no it didn't fix because it was not original controller I bought original one worked just fine wireless but the minute I plug it in it doesn't work and keep plug and unplug the 360 controller and every time I want to use it I do all the steps so that's my problem and I am fine with but I would prefer to solve it

@@DanMiniScruff hello i got it all good by using steam instead of ds4 windows And if my game wasn't on steam i added it into steam library as a non steam game it run perfectly fine and you can adjust it as you want to use in desktop ps5 controller is supported the only bad thing that you will have to let go is that will not be able to see battery status But you can just press just one button to start enjoying your game and one to close it if your controller was original Take care

ok first of all not everyone has steam. so u tell em how to download it. and not everyone has .NET to use ds4 for so u tell em how to download it u skipped a lot of steps and i dont know why so many people are praising you. not that i need help download but as a youtuber u have to realize some of your viewers need your help

Downloading steam is easy, just a google search, anyone not interested can ignore that part of the video. Regarding .net it's part of windows. If you're running windows 10 or newer there's nothing to do and it'll work. If you're running anything older than Windows 10 means you're running an unsupported OS which is a separate problem.

That's what the PlayStation configuration support option in steam does. It emulates an Xbox 1 controller. Some games which have DS4 support might work without it. But for others, you need to enable this setting, which tricks them into thinking it is an Xbox one controller which they do support.

the problem I'm having is my PS 4 controller isn't fully wireless, I still have to use the usb to play games through steam or any other game I have on my PC, I have tried to make it fully wireless, and all instructions I have followed just go's through the same method, my duelshock has been paired with my pc, it is integrated with steam yet if I unplug the controller it stops working, this is not fully wireless, the 'wireless' part does not work, regardless if I have it paired with Bluetooth and steam recognizes it, any solutions?
