correct me if I'm wrong. for 3 wire ac motor with single capacitor, should we plug the com wire to neutral, 2 other wires from motor plus live to capacitor? or can we change the live and neutral? or it makes no difference?

on a refrigerated trailer with a 120v single phase compressor, the hot lead amperage is 15, the white, common, lead is 7.5 amps and the green, ground wire has 7.5 amps. The compressor unit is on one breaker and the evap fan is on another breaker. Should there be current in the ground wire?

Why would the running capacitor be connected to the starting winding on one lead?
