In this video I will show you guys how to connect your AirPods to Your PS4 Slim/Pro Without using a USB Dongle.
I will also show you guys how to use your AirPods as a microphone on your PS4 in this Video.

Edit: Guys, I have Managed to fix the Audio Issues that some of you may have been facing with the video! Hold the “Share” and “PlayStation” button at the same time for about 3 seconds. Then the light bar on the controller should start flashing Then you can pair the controller to your mobile device via the Bluetooth section of your Settings.

These are the steps: 1. Turn on Your PS4 and sign into your main account (the account that you want to use the AirPods with ) 2. Download the “PS4 Remote Play” from the App Store or Google play store 3. Open the application and accept the terms and conditions then sign into your PSN account 4. Click the blue “start” icon in the middle of your screen to start searching for your PS4 5. Once you have paired you phone with your PS4 you will have to pair your DualShock 4 controller with your mobile device - to do this you will have to go into settings > Bluetooth then hold the PlayStation button and the the Share button at the same time till the light bar on the controller starts blinking. Then the device should pop up on your screen. If it doesn’t this may mean that you haven’t got the latest iOS or Android devices, this is not a problem. There is a video on my channel showing you how to connect your DualShock 4 controller to older mobile devices (Link in Description) 6. Once you have connected your DualShock 4 to your mobile device you will now have to connect your AirPods to your phone 7. Once your AirPods are connected, you could put them into your ears then you will have to click on the settings tab on the bottom left of your screen, then enable your microphone 8. Now you are ready to use your AirPods as a mic - this means you can talk in game chat and party chat as well as hear the game audio from your AirPods **For your AirPods to stay connected at all times you will have to have your phone stay connected to your PS4 at all times for this to happen you will need a strong internet connection and enough charge on your phone I’d recommend you to put your phone on charge to make sure your phone doesn’t run out of charge Hope this has made everything clear for everyone watching this video If you have anymore questions make sure to leave them in the comments section and I will try my best to answer your questions!

Illias Calzada you have to connect your controller to your phone through Bluetooth, then u should be able to use your controller

Sophie Monolidis I don’t think you could actually fix it, for some reason you can’t watch DVD/ Blu-ray disk or play apps like KZbin or Disney plus as they have “Copy Protection” I hope this has answered your question

It will only disconnect if your phone has no charge/battery left of if you haven’t got a strong internet connection You don’t have to use your mobile as your screen, you could still use your TV or monitor The mobile device is only used so that u could still use your DualShock 4 controller as well as your AirPods Hope this has answered your question

There will be minor delays depending on how strong your connection is, so I wouldn’t recommend it when playing online games like Call of Duty or Fortnite. Hope that helps

Hey Benji I’m not sure why this is happening. Did you decline the message that pops up which asks to enable the microphone? Or try to enable the microphone through your phones settings. I hope this helps, let me know if it helped.

If they’re brand new hold down the button on the back of the airpods case for about 3 seconds then they should pop up, if it’s a new device that you haven’t connected to before then do the same thing, let me know if this works
