@@salimsadmansami yes you will get atmos on soundbar and video on monitor using video pass through feature. if pc is old than this may be an issue. new laptop with win 11 and dolby access app should work also check that you have hdmi 2.0 in your pc so that uncompress True HD can also pass through pc.

Mera soundbar Samsung B55E/XL me HDMI In port hai, so apka bataya hua path follow karke dekhta hun ki audio ati ki nahi. Main Apple Music subscribe kar rakha hun, so mujhe HDMI cable se lossless audio chahiye, obviously HDMI audio extractor ka optical port se to yeh nahi mil sakti. Mera Lenovo IdeaPad me Radion Vega 8 graphics card hai, dekhte hain ki usme at least 2.0 ya 2.1 ka audio support hai ki nahi, hona to chahiye, fingers crossed.

But one thing, there is no comparison between laptop or any external source giving sound to the soundbar and the TV from its ARC port is channeling its sound to the ARC port of the soundbar. In the later case, sound is much more loud, more crisper, more rich, and the base too is more punchy. I don't think that I will like much to attach my Samsung soundbar to my laptop anymore because it's not worth it.

I think you need to use win+P command and select duplicate so that video with sound go to hdmi source and optical to soundbar. I think I have shown that in video.

Sir, greetings to you. I bought nvidia gpu and installed on desktop pc, after watching this video, I thought I could connect one hdmi cable from Graphic card to soundbar, other to monitor. I am using GoVo 2.1.2 dolby atmos. Windows & nvidia control panel only shows Monitor in the audio settings. Soundbar is not detected. Is there anyway I could get it detected and experience dolby atmos without any external devices (if possible), if not what should I do? Please suggest me.

boat 5500da don't have video pass through features means hdmi in and out port, so you will not get atmos. However you can get 5.1 channel if you use hdmi to optical converter. If you connect a tv with laptop that is a 4k tv with hdmi arc or earc you will atmos for laptop content on soundbar.

I am testing and found that in windows 11,if dolby access app not able to detect dolby soundbar it is not showing 5.1 in netflix. But content I have played both in netflix and offline movie surround 5.1 channel sound coming from all speakers. In the sound output settings of hdmi splitter set spatial sound as dolby atmos for headphones as home theater not available. Now you can see 5.1 channel in netflix. Will make a video for this, hdmi extractor not dolby certied but can extract 5.1 channels from hdmi and can send to the soundbar.

Mere paas zebronics soundbar 9000 pro dolby digital plus hai but jab mai pc ke s/pdif port se optical cable se connect karta hu to dolby access ka setup aage nahi badta hai. Soundbar supports hdmi ARC, Optical, aux, bluetooth. Jab dolby access app mai demo play karta hu to soundbar display karta hai "dolby audio", aur kafi acha sound aata hai but setup mai aage nhi badta. Iska solution kya ho sakta hai.

I think using hdmi duplicator it should work one connection to soundbar and one to monitor. You have to use win+P to project display on monitor or duplicater. try but I have not tested it yet. you can buy a returnable product from amazon
