Sir, mene laptop se 5.1 sound bar ko connect kiya through hdmi extractor but jab me control panel me sound settings me configuration me test play karrha hu tab shirf Right channel with right surround and left channel with left surround hi kam kar rahe hai center and subwoofer se koi test play nahi horrha, just like getting sterio sound, please help.

In my home theater I have only one HDMI port which is HDMI ARC. I want to connect my home theater to my laptop. I want to play dolby atmos using my laptop. When I am connecting my home theater to my laptop, its not working. Is there any convertor I can use to connect it. USB type c to HDMI ARC or norml HDMI port to HDMI ARC. Please suggest.

This is great. I have few questions. I have an old 5.1 home theater that I bought with my desktop pc years ago (10+). My desktop was old n I sold it. I now have a laptop. Is there any possibility to connect that creative home theater with my laptop. That sound system does not have HDMI port. The woofer used to ports in which we connect the center n surround speakers. Rest used to connect to the desktop sound card which had 3 ports. I'm really confused how to connect it with a laptop.

you need a proper box specially designed for your subwoofer driver. box purchased from car accessories shop are not good for home theater. as car is very small in comparison to a room, so inside car any kind of box sounds ok ok.. but for home theater the box should be perfect and you will need a powerful 4 ohm amplifier. and for extra subwoofer connection please watch this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqLNhmCfm82ssKM

Sir one question, If Dolby Atmos is supported through HDMI port of laptop in AVR, then why can't we use in Dolby support Soundbars? In one of your vid you said ERC is not there in Laptop. But here it is possible.

Dolby is digital signal, AV receiver can recive that signal through regular HDMI inputs. but soundbar accept only Audio from ARC or eARC tv . it is all about different technologies..

it depends upon so many things, try one thing, turn off your tv, and then connect your laptop to your AVR. then check if your laptop detects your avr, else follow your AVR manual.

it depends. if your old av receiver support SPDIF and your new laptop also supports SPDIF then you can connect it with SPDIF. else you can use 3.1 mm stereo pin to RCA , but in that case you can enjoy only 2 channel stereo sound. thank you very much ☺️🙏
