Since the CalDigit charges your laptop should you not still use the laptop charger at the same time??? 🤷🏽

You can if you want to charge your laptop faster or if you laptop needs more wattage during heavy use

To the hub! That way I only connect one cable to my laptop (only the thunderbolt cable from the caldigit hub to the laptop)

@@Semyon_Music really good option I do the same thing with my caldigit ts3+ but connecting the cable directly to the hub does not involve latency for the apollo ahi does it do apollo > hub > macbook, especially if the hub is full? Simple question, what you think ?

@@1eidji652 no latency at all! Its the same whether connected directly to the Mac or through the thunderbolt hub

The only one is the cable it came with started acting up, but when I switched to the Apple thunderbolt cable I had no issues

You have to check the manual of the interface you plan on using if it can be used via a hub or must be a direct connection

I just plugged it in to the USB A port on the hub. What MIDI keyboard is it? Did it work before when connecting straight to your laptop?

Man.... I keep getting this nasty ass click and pop in my DAW for some reason. I'm not sure if it's because of the Element Hub. 🤦🏽 Have you had these type of problems with the Element Hub??? 🤷🏽

Not with the element hub but I did with my studio display. Just had to use a different wall socket than my monitors
