Hello. I am from the Republic of Georgia. I have Chromcast and Google Home Mini and TV LG 32LA620V. I could not turn on and off the TV with voice commands. I watch everything from the computer and the phone to the TV. What settings should I set on Google Home Mini to handle voice commands? Maybe the region matters to Google? On my phone Google Home has a different interface than with you. I also have no scripts in Google Home, I use voice assistant quick commands: "Good morning", "Sleep" and so on. I use the Smart WI-FI Infrared Controller to turn the TV on and off, as well as to switch channels. I can not do all this with Chromecast. Could you help me? thanks

Streaming your oculus screen to your tv will most definitely eat away at your data. If you are running on a limited plan I suggest you don't do it often.

Till yesterday my google Chromecast 3 device worked properly. But, today it is not working properly. Only screen casting from You Tube and Disney hotstar is working. But, screen mirroring is not working. If I click cast screen, a note will come, there I will click start mirroring. But, no action found. Home name is Family room, under this Family room "Play music" in green colour is appearing. after clicking Family room cast my screen will come. After clicking this, cast to mirror device will come. After this, if I click cast screen, screen mirroring will not work. It stands in same stage. What is the problem? Only Casting from you tube and Disney hotstar is working. I feel Google Chromecast device is partially out of order. Please suggest early.

You would have to switch through your Wi-Fi provider when you set up your Wi-Fi. In my case, I use spectrum so I log into my Spectrum account, And I go to my setup options. There I choose which Wi-Fi signal to use.

You won't need a USB port. The Chromecast connects to the TV through an HDMI port, and then power can come from the included AC adapter plugged into the wall.

A better product would be one that's focused on casting to your devices and less on collecting data.

LOL all devices always collect data. Doesn't matter what the device is, if it's connected to the net it's always collecting. It's impossible to get away from it unless you go completely analog and never get on the net. Plus you can turn off the majority of data collection other than error reporting for most devices anyway. The question is do you honestly believe that you're actually important enough for anyone to care about your data anyway?
