did you know that you can import multi cam footage straight into premier pro and create cuts between cameras as your editing

Pretty much lines up but I guess you might get some latency depending on you internet speed and phone capabilities but I haven't had any issues so far

Search on Amazon for composite to USB adapter or composite to HDMI I don't really know if a converted signal to USB will be recognised by OBS so you are probably better off using HDMI to a capture device

Yes unfortunately as it's ip based you have only got room for one instance to be running at a time (as far as I know)

A lot of Canon cameras can now be connected without an elgato (or similar) . Canon released webcam software. If you have a t3i, like me, use the t5i link

I haven't found a way to run multiple instances of droidcam so I dont think you can because you would need different ip addresses for each cellphone so would need multiple instances of droidcam running

@Leggework Could you use a dongle with hdmi input to connect a dslr?

OBS would need to recognise the dongle to capture the feed from the camera, the capture card and elgato camlink are recognised which is why I use them, I dont recommend using an HDMI passthrough as it wont appear in OBS. A possible workaround would be to display the camera feed on the pc and then add either a display capture or window capture in your OBS scene

Is there a way I can tell which camera is live? ie on NDI around the edge there is a red line when that camera is live but not on OBS

I am having problems when connecting 4 cameras to OBS. All might work initially, then 1 camera will stop working. Did some trouble-shooting, and all 4 cameras still working when checked using the Windows Camera App. Any idea where the limitation is? Is there a limit to the number of cameras (video capture sources) in OBS?

Thanks for tutorial, just wondered if you could help on a couple of points. When I have studio mode I can see myself in the preview window and can see live view in program window. Now I edit the preview flip horizontally so it's like looking in a mirror. The program window still shows the correct view (all text etc is correct way round) This is all ok until I change the output and then output live feed again, when I do this, I am now in mirror image in the output and text etc is back to front. Can I maintain mirror image in preview only? Also, point 2. I can feed a web page into the source in a browser, but in OBS, the webpage has a big flash asking to accept cookies! - in particular, I was pointing to a product item on Amazon.co.uk. - How can I get rid of this Many thanks Jimmy

1. no you cant preserve mirror in the preview only as the preview window is for you to make adjustments and changes to what will go into the live window so if you mirror in preview it will stay mirrored in the live window 2. in preview right click on the webpage and you'll see a option to 'interact' clicking on that will open another window (only you will see it) you can then scroll click and manipulate the webpage as you would in a browser window

unfortunately I have been unable to use two instances of droidx so only been able to connect one cell phone in that way but you could try zoom or one of the other meeting platforms and do a screen grab that way

Great thanks, finally someone making a video on how to attach a DSLR. I want to make tutorials and appear on the screen myself (maybe in a small box on the bottom of the screen) whilst filming my desktop at the same time. Is this possible? I'm using a Canon M50 for better quality shots than my Laptop's webcam. Thank you!

yeah the m50 has an HDMI output so will work with a capture card or elgato camlink. just add a screen capture and the video capture device sources to a scene and resize the camera input to get both on the screen at the same time

That kind of work would have gotten you alot more then 26 subs. Which is statically proven to work. So just food for thought.
