I was just about to go live last night when a meesage from KZbin onscreen said that KZbin was not getting enough video and therefore our video livestream did not go well. Our image was stuck and there was no sound. We had to stream from my daughter's iPhone, which worked really well and wondered if we can use her Iphone to capture vide and sound through OBS studio and therefore mix in our images and third page messages, as well as media previously recorded. Can you help us. We are a small congregation in the south of Chile and my wife and I are missionary pastors here. so we have to do everything ourselves for now.

You will need different video inputs for different camera angles. Either additional capture device or a switcher like the ATEM going into your streaming system

Hey AJaytheCEO, I need your help. I've been bagging my head trying to figure this out. How do I schedule an uploaded video that I want to go live on OBS. I have Vimeo at church how they don't have the capabilities at this time to schedule a prerecorded video to be played live you restream. I can't figure it out on OBS. Any suggestions?

Sadly, you cannot schedule this via OBS directly and you would need to either keep the video private until you want it to be available in Vimeo, manually stream it from OBS at the designated time or use a service like restream to stream it at a specific time.

I have a example of what I want to do, and I am wondering can you take a slide of choir words and put on the tv's in the sanctuary to fill the whole screen but at the same time have smaller words that go out to your live screen to be on the bottom of the screen and set up with the space bar to change the words simultaneously

@@AJaytheCEO Thank you. Service starts at 10:30 but I get I there an hour earlier to test the equipment. Service runs to about noon. Thats 31/2 hours. Also we may be Livestreaming lectures in the near future as well. I estimate the lectures will run about 1 1/2 hours.

The first thing that you Should create from the scene, should have been (FADE TO BLACK). In case the software operator gets mixed up. It's a scene where you can go to in a hurry so that you can make your Corrections to get back on track. Okay, the graphic that you have says (Stream will Resume Shortly) just have some different music for that. You don't want to have DEAD AIR on that graphic in between live shots. Okay during a giving segment you can still have a live shot and put in bold lettering the URL where viewers on the stream can give their tithe and offering and they can still see what's going on in the service it's much nicer that way. Plus an announcer over the top of the music as the offering is being taken, that is if, OBS would allow you to do that.

You are welcome. If you are streaming to KZbin or Facebook, anyone that follows you will get a notification that you are live so no need to share a link but each platform will give you a link during creation or when you go live.
