I bought the MX Keys Mini Combo that also includes the MX Anywhere 3. The included Bolt receiver worked out of the box for both devices. This video helped me understand that multiple devices can be paired with the Bolt receiver, which is really awesome! Thank you for this video :)

Sometimes employers block USB ports and software that isn't available in the "company portal" for download. You can consider submitting a request to your company's service desk to ask if they can make an exception so you can use it! ☺️

Very helpful! This means I can have the Logitech MX keys and a 3s master paired with just one logi bolt USB?
@TechBoost2 ай бұрын
Thanks! That's correct! You can even connect 6 Logitech devices (that are Logi Bolt compatible) to 1 Logi Bolt USB! 😁

I'm trying the same steps with my 'mx keys s' keyboard. for some reason, the bolt receiver doesn't detect the keyboard and I can't figure out why. any suggestions? PS: I've tried multiple bolt receivers still no luck. the keyboard does connect through Bluetooth directly though.

Ah that's weird! Do the Logi Bolt receivers work with other Logi devices (like your mouse)? If so, I would advise to try the following: 1. Make sure your MX Keys S is ON (not connected with BT) and your Logi Bolt receiver is connected with the PC. Try the setup steps in the video but when you're at the step with the easy switch buttons, try all 3 of them for 3 seconds each. Maybe the Logi Bolt receiver does recognize the keyboard at another Easy Switch button. 2. Reset your MX Keys S keyboard and try the setup process again. You can do the reset with a key combination which is different for Logi keyboards but a quick Google will get you there. 3. If none of this is working I should try to contact the seller and discuss the warranty. Because if none of this works, it looks like a problem with the connection to the Logi Bolt receiver from the keyboard side. Good luck and if you want to know something else, let me know! 😁👍

I have Logitech MX Keys which connects via unifying receiver. I have just upgraded my mouse to a MX 3S which uses the "Logi Bolt" receiver. For the life of me, I cannot get the MX Keys keyboard to communicate to the Logi Bolt receiver so I can remove the old unifying receiver. I followed your instructions here and I still cannot get it to work. I have tried several times to get the keyboard to connect, by long pressing that key shown in the video. The little light flashes but the logi plus software says over and over, nothing detected ! The key board and mouse should be able to work off the Logi Bolt correct ?? I have to have bolt unifying receiver and logi bolt receivers plugged in for each hardware to operate. Why does it have to be so excruciatingly difficult ??? When trying to pair the mouse, I have to long press 1 on the back of the mouse. The software detects, but the mouse is now in an inoperable state and I cannot move the cursor over to "connect", so I have to click the button through 2 and 3 and back to one for it to work, then I am to move the cursor over to "connect" after which I then get an error. What is this rubbish from Logitech ??

Hey Tony! Sounds frustrating indeed 😞 When the Logitech MX Keys comes with a unifying receiver, the keyboard has a different wireless protocol than the Logitech MX Keys keyboard that come with a Logi Bolt receiver. If I'm correct the newer MX Keys/MX Keys S all come now with a Logi Bolt receiver and there should be "Logi Bolt compatible" on the box. So, you probably have an "older" version of the MX Keys that only has the unifying receiver wireless protocol 😞

If i plug the reciever out a plug it back in to another pc will both devices connect?
@TechBoostАй бұрын
Yes, the Logi compatible devices are paired with the Logi Bolt receiver. So when you connect the Logi Bolt to another PC, the same Logi devices are still paired with the receiver and will still work ☺️👍
