HOW TO CONNECT Rii MINI WIRELESS KEYBOARD TO ANDROID BOX (i8 & i8+)2018 OCTOBER
In this video i will show you how to connect rii i8 and rii i8+ these two mini wireless keyboards to your android box. This is very simple tutorial yet a lot of people get confused about it because of the USB dongle that is hidden in the battery compartment on the rii mini wireless keyboard.
The USB dongle needs to be connected onto a USB port on the computer or on the Android Box for charging the mini wireless keyboard. So you should charge it atleast2-4 hrs on a USB port and then start using it but make sure that you have connected the USB dongle on the Android Box. You can even use this mini wireless keyboard on a computer or a laptop as well. Rii i8 is compatible with MAC devices as well.

Huuuuuuuge Help Haven't used the keyboard on years got a new android tv box and learning all over again and realized a remote alone is not enough. Bought this years ago. Wouldn't work. : You can charge it with pretty much any source, even you USB ports on your box. I charge several things (not my phone) from it with no issues (i.e. Smartwatch, BT speaker, etc.). Good luck

You need to check how much output is your charger giving then check the charge input that your Keyboard can take thats it. If it matches you can use the wall charger as well.

Amazon firebox doesnt have the same settings as a Android Box. So you will only see a round pointer as your cursor. But i will still dig and see if i find anything on it.

Unfortunately this remote doesn't have an option that allows you to turn On/Off your Android Box. For that you need to use IR remote that comes with Android Box.

you have to charge it sir and with a new android box make sure you are using the dongle with it not without dongle (reciever) also try different ports sometimes a port is not functioning properly so try a different usb port as well

Have had 1 of these for.about 3 years now. A lot of incorrect info going around with pairing/operation of these. READ THE MANUAL!!! (only 4 short pages) PAIRING STEP 1: Keep device (PC, android box etc...) powered on that pairing with and be sure keyboard is full charged. STEP 2: Press "F1" button without releasing. STEP 3: Power on the keyboard and release the "F1" button immediately. STEP 4: Plug USB receiver into USB port of device trying to pair to. Note : Better yet, see below for "ALSO VERY IMPORTANT ..." and use Extension USB port of supplied cable other USB port plugged into android box Wait a moment and device will pair with keyboard, yellow stops flashing and blue solid. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT FOR ANDROID TV BOX... to avoid signal interference(from android box or tv), plug USB receiver into supplied 3 port USB extension/charge cable and get USB receiver as far away as possible from both tv and android box. ( I dropped mine to shelf below). Hope above helps!
