Thank You Rabbi. I was born a Roman Catholic but I watch all your videos and gain greatly from your wisdom. I was never a very religious man because I went to catholic school as a child, and they completely turned me off to religion. Instead of bringing me toward it, all I saw was the hypocrisy of the people who taught me. Which only served to drive me away from it. I don’t miss any of your videos, and I thank you for your great practical advice. God Bless You

Lchaim. Hello. I was born March 11th in Bethlehem. I'll teach you some Aramaic. It's the slang of Hebrew. Schlama means peace. Malkuth means heaven. Hubba means love. Hubba to you and yours. My Covenant with God aka Elohim Adonai Hashem is to make Israel one( it means to bring peace and reconciliation between Jew, Christian, Muslim: cousins by Abraham.

🙏🌈🪶 Native American, brought up as a Southern Baptist.I played piano for 8-10 years out of 12 studying music.. steeped in the Bible 😊joke "cutesy" I am living in the reality that says Jesus'/Yeshua was a Torah scholar 💜 with a Kabbalahistic "twist". Like his mother 🙏 he took what he read as "miracles" LITERALLY.. He took it in Faith. "If you believe in your Heart, and not doubt, you can move mountains ; "Say to this mountain; "Be thou removed.. ( Like the David Bowie Song "Absolute Beginners) 🐦🎶🌈🪶💕

You have wonderful thoughts Rabbi. I think though we are born into a world of consequence, and ego. We get lost to ourselves, and end up living lives away from God. We develop a fate, and a bad fate at that. But aligning our lives with God and struggle through, we are gifted with destiny. Much better than our fate.

Sir,thank You for your goodness. I have so much to tell You,but I think even it's a "destiny". What to say? How I can help someone to navigate His life, when he wouldn't hear He has have choice, free will. What he has done? Nothing. It's painful. I suffer as a mother, but I can do anything about that. Any help, any resources that he has,he doesn't want to realise. Why? Is it my guilty? Or,is it destiny? From high to down! Terrible. But,there are good people like You Sir. So, that's my hope and strength even for now. Thank You,Sir, thank You. 😊

In making choices: we can only go with what is in front of us at the time (some people have a choice of a mercedes or a bmw; others have a choice of a pinto or a vw bug--we don't get to choose what choice is given to us); also, we can only go with what people are telling us--sometimes it is truth, sometimes it is not truth--and we have little control over that--some untruths are monsterous...and the only control that we have is over our own emotions (maybe) to ignore outrageous behavior by those who claim to love us...that is all we get...then we can choose from there (maybe)...dts/usa

You are correct. I control my soul. I control my destiny. I dont want that one day I open my eyes and wht hv to my family he distry my goodness my inner peace bcz of bad people bcz of their actions against wht we hv. So why only the table I play. But all is depend to the tables in Philippines me only frm the world bcz I don't want to judge the country bcz of 20 to 200 person to thair country bcz of money. I share but all of that is final. For the people. But hv a leader I know not all leader same all. Masaya na ako oag batapos ang project nang gobyerno para sa ating mundo. That's my goal

You are only as in control as you are righteous. If righteous before God He will answer prayers that are for YOU. IF you are righteous before MAN - then man will answer you prayers. IF you are righteous before GOD but NOT man, GOD will ask you to pray FOR man. IF you are righteous before BOTH then ALL of your prayers will be heard AND answered. ~ Job, Enoch, Elijah, Moses

I am confused help me understand this, we are not defined by our experienses but by our soul. Yet the experienses we have the love, the nurture, the education, the traunas all impact us and in some way we better understand or have a perspective with reflection but does this not shape and define the soul's experience. I may say these talks have helped me understand though its come very late in life

I don't need to know my destiny I've been giving Grace by the King of the Universe. Judgment has already been passed upon those fallen judgment is being rendered and not upon humanity like they want everybody to believe. The devil is a liar remember Read your Bible pray forgive everybody and love everybody Don't lie and don't do the things that you hate do not be afraid We are told 365 times in that Bible do not be afraid for a very very good reason Now remember that and everything magical happens. You offer good advice for free. Seriously, as a Misfit Deciple of our Lord Jesus. I literally shack up inside my kabba (house), to keep from being entangled by sin. I think refractories remind me of little kabba's, the Hebrew elders carry around with them? Perhaps it's to remind them to carry the private relationship with the Father around with them in their daily lives. Seems more practical than sitting alone in a box. Been there done that. 🤘😎♏

God is Real. In fact, God is the Most Real of Everything that we perceive acting in our own lives and in the lives of those we love, those we work with, those we hope to work with. Science - smug, vainglorious academic science that for centuries sought to persuade itself and leading policymakers in society (such as those highly influential figures who set & shaped education policy, and no, I don't mean about "banishing Creationism" from schools, I mean about mocking those who hear & heed God's Voice, disparaging compunction and discouraging intellectual subtlety and reverence for actual scholarship) that "there is no such thing as 'God'; it's all nonsense, an incomprehensible tangle of superstition, arguments about 'angels dancing on the head of a pin' etc.; ergo, Nothing is Forbidden; there is no 'sin,' no final judgment, no measuring of the sum of a life, no form of ultimate accountability to an Ultimate Judge (and therefore nothing to punish the genocidal maniac who calls for the extermination of millions, whether of Millions of Jews or of Millions of Ukrainians or of Millions of Homosexuals or of Millions of 'superfluous & unwanted pregnancies' {as happened during China's harshly enforced 'one-child' decades, now lamented by a Chinese government that sees itself in a demographic predicament, yet continues to formally demand that no good citizen believe in God} - is finally coming around to admitting that the evidence being gathered by the finest instruments thus far developed here on Earth points to a far more complex Universe, a Universe that is but one of an unknown number of 'universes/multiverses', a universe that may indeed be conscious & potentially even interactive: a Universe that did not 'spring into existence out of Nothing' but indeed is Held, Contained, or perhaps Grown - like a plant in a garden - by another, much greater, logically consistent Force/Being external to it. A Force/Being with its own far more agile, fungible, ingeniously self-perpetuating Physics that acts upon the limitations of the known Physics operating within our own Universe in such a way as to make itself both obvious and imperceptible, 'now-you-see-me-now-you-don't,' like that Superb Character, that One-of-a-Kind that Moses met, interacted with and sought to explain to less sensitive human beings. We are all here - all are ancestors were & are here - because each one of us was created, Willed into Existence, desired to Exist, as individuals Works of Divine Art, by this Great Force, that for the sake of simplicity & consistency & philosophical integrity I shall continue to refer to as God (even though some in the scientific community, brainwashed from childhood, will come up with some other, fanciful label, such as the Motherboard, Cosmic CPU, Master Spindle of Galactic Centers, or anything else). GOD PROVIDES. This is the central message of that magnificent first chapter of the Book of Genesis, a sacred text indeed, even though people have become foolishly polarized about its timeline & implications. Yes, of course, at some point there were those First Parents, call them Adam & Eve or whatever else you care to; and, yes, they did fail massively in a very, very simple assignment: to Remain Aware of God; to Ask for Permission; to Say 'Thank you' (very important, and still such a challenge for so many human beings in spite of the obvious advantages of expressing gratitude instead of resentful ingratitude) and - crucially - to Ask God for Forgiveness when mistakes are made. Was that so hard? Is it so hard? Is that too much to ask? Basically, Good Manners? And is it not precisely the inability of the earliest, most perfect - at that time, immortal - humans to Naturally Adhere to Good Manners, which are nothing more than the manifestation of Reverence in word, gesture, action - that introduced Discord, Decay, Willfull Ignorance, Obdurate Discord & Enmity (Cain vs. Abel), and Suffering into this world? If you read the first page or two of Homer's "Odyssey" (I prefer the magnificent verse translation into English of Rodney Merrill, but there are plenty of translations, into all languages), even in that text the Ancient Greek poet observes: humans are always blaming [the Divine] for the consequences of their own errors. And so it is, even today, to the point that several billion human beings, perhaps 4 or 5, refuse to accept even the possibility of God Being Present simply because they cannot handle the painful realization that they, themselves, are their own worst enemies. God, in reality, is everyone's Best Friend. God steps in, supporting each individual human life that God created, and even when life here on earth becomes a harrowing ordeal for that poor struggling fallible human soul, God receives the innocent sufferer back into the Eternal Palace - for it is, indeed, a Transcendent Palace, a Place more perfect than anything we can imagine (that some indeed have seen, or visited in their dreams, and been allowed to describe) - where "all tears shall be wiped away." We endure the difficulties that we endure in order to show what we are made of: Finer Stuff? Or Dross? Byssus? Or plastic? Gold? Or sludge? And then, having passed the test, we are restored to Paradise, only by now a much greater and more populous Paradise than the one Adam & Eve lacked the good sense & the good manners to appreciate & to cherish.

Imagine that you are a guest invited to the home of the most extraordinary person of your time. You are there; your host is momentarily busy with something... You take it upon yourself to pick up and handle a precious art object that is unique and irreplaceable... You start passing it around... Instantly, it slips from your grasp, crashes and is smashed to bits... The host comes back, but you are now hiding behind the furniture; when you are brought forward to face the music for your folly, the planned entertainment for the day obviously derailed, you begin accusing the host himself, for having displayed such a precious object, and then even for having invited you at all... What happens next? Well, an irate & now justifiably offended host, incensed by your insults, arrogance and lack of contrition, banishes you from the premises... You are marched out of that magical place, to face a world of suddenly inclement weather, having lost the regard of your Best Friend. That is, in essence, the narrative of Genesis. The descendants of Adam & Eve continue to repeat this scenario, although each generation, and indeed each soul, has the opportunity to live that plot line differently. And, indeed, many have, whose wondrous achievements astound us: the Leonardos, the Händels, the Mozarts, the Beethovens, the Homers, the Wright Brothers... Ordinary human beings who chose to have a more reverent approach to Reality, and therefore also to God, as the Author of Reality, and whose own gifts were thereby multiplied, simply because they were willing to make more intelligent choices & to be more focused in their pursuits. Do we have them in our own time? Yes, of course, in the likes of Steve Jobs (deceased) or Michael Bloomberg (still going strong): obvious geniuses with a vision who made choices that allowed them to open ever greater horizons in the disciplines they chose to pursue, literally transforming how everyone on earth lives and functions. Reverence always underpins the greatest achievements in human history, and marks out Humankind's Greatest Superachievers. They may not speak of it outwardly, they may choose to be part of a congregation or instead prefer to remain outwardly unaffiliated, yet they all have a direct personal connection to The Divine, which is why they achieve so much in a relatively short time, overcoming disadvantages that others find utterly paralyzing, 'an excuse for failure.' A wonderful book that I believe all children & young people ought to read is Defoe's "Robinson Crusoe" (based on actual real events): it demonstrates that even in extreme adversity, God Provides; the attentive, striving soul looks around and makes of what/who is available a perfect little habitat for herself or himself. That is what Reverence accomplishes: Reverence, that word that has been all but banished from modern, TV-mediated consciousness that instead promotes dumb yuks & guffaws mixed with yawns, to a generation that is now being taught to question "whether I was born in the 'right' body" - wasting enormous amounts of time, mental energy & resources - instead of being taught to be Grateful, Excited & Reverent about Being Alive, and motivated to do something intelligent with her or his opportunities... Yes, we have choices, here on earth. Every choice is consequential. The choice of a word. The choice of an interlocutor. The choice of whom to marry - whether to marry - but, long before that, the choice of whom to date and whom to befriend and whom & what to avoid getting mixed up with. So here we are, in a whole new age, "the Age of Aquarius" (?), a new galactic cycle, supernovas exploding and "stars 'dying' spectacularly" (except who knows if stars actually 'die'? Maybe the explosions of stars merely mark the birth of a new soul, or the creation of a new dimension? We don't really know & scientists, if they wish to be honorable, need to stop using the extreme language of human frailty to describe phenomena infinitely more powerful & mysterious than anything humans have ever imagined, developed or described before!), all sorts of visible & measurable indicators - including the sheer number of human beings present, juxtaposed against increased longevity in advanced societies concurrently with plummeting human fertility across planet Earth - unambiguously defining massive new shifts in understanding + Purpose. We are each called, from an early age, to learn to value more completely the exercise of our own individual Free Will in alignment with God's intentions for us - intentions that are self-evident just from looking around at where God placed our own life, with whom, in what corner of God's Earthly Garden and with what set of Faculties, Interests, Resources, Personal Traits. Yes, we all inherit something from our parents and grandparents, from ancestors we know as well as ancestors we never suspected were our direct forebears... We inherit bad ideas as well as good potentialities. But no one inherits the enmity of God, WHO IS LOVE. Any great human artist loves his/her own creations; how much more does the Divine Creator love the Created Works He wrought! Especially humans, that we know exist, that we see all around us on this small, yet big, fragile, yet resilient and self-renewing planetary home we share. We have been given so many gifts! Such immense gifts! Our brains (and for free! no strings attached!)! Our minds! Our friends and companions! To look contemptuously upon all that - to waste time wondering "why I was not born outwardly different" - is the very definition of extremely wasteful vanity! In the fullest sense of the word, "vain": Futile! Waste no precious time; scorn no precious day! Seek God, rather than a plastic surgeon, couturier, personal trainer or sex expert "to give meaning to your life"! Stop helping and encouraging demagogues & 'celebrities'! God, Who is All Around You, willing to help and ready to provide - which is what God does, by definition, better than any mere mortal anywhere - has answers to your every need. And if you will drag yourself away from the tawdry nonsense on your various broadcasting devices, turn inward to seek God's Voice, then reach outward to connect to God through your existing Reality - this Present, not our glorious/excruciating Past - then, you, too, can find yourself, while still alive, in the middle of Paradise - no matter what your circumstances - and meeting there, both visibly and invisibly, with others who, like you, have found the way, through their own personal decisions in alignment with God's Own Will, to that same blissful place & state. Because we live our lives in and through our own minds, which is where our souls articulate their perceptions and transmute experience into transcendence. Thank you for this video, Rabbi Simon, and the Trust in God that it explicitly conveys, both with eloquence and the supreme elegance of Sincerity: a most precious superpower, in our day & age.

Do you think some has destiny and others do not? or are some people's destiny's bigger then others where some is much smaller and nit heard of. Or do you think our free will is how we get to our destiny? or some people's control screws up people's destiny and that's why karma fucks them up for not allowing someone's destiny to be carried out?

I appreciate what you are saying about control, however, there are a lot of 'go with the flow' people who never stand up for what is right, in order to 'get along', not lose that paycheck, or do what is right--in short, they are a bunch of liars, who live without honesty, in order to get along--I believe in Germany this led to Nazis...so, be careful in what you tell people that control is...at some point, we must, MUST stand up to lies, even if it means self-sacrifice...to tell others that there is another way is irresponsible...ask President Zelinsky if he should have just swam with the tide, in order to get along with the Russians--I don't think that he would go there (thankfully)...we cannot just swim with the tide, that is not possible...and that is not true control...dts/usa

After living through Nazism, how can you say that a person is not a victim of circumstances? People are constantly a victim of circumstances...say that to the 600 people who just lost their lives in a ship off of the coast of Greece...they didn't get on that ship thinking that it would sink...now they are gone...people are a combination of the choice that they make and what happens that they cannot control--some people are born rich, and some are born poor--they didn't choose that...that is not within their control--and it will affect the rest of their life...but, that said, better to be poor and honest, than rich and a liar...simply put...no matter what the outcome...dts/usa

Does anyone know where in the Bible that says: "G-d says, I will give the human being the ability to make these choices" (22:30). I am not doubting it says that, I would want to read the surrounding verses.

Wisdom is wisdom, but read Proverbs 3:5 to realize these people lean on their own understanding instead of the Lord. More importantly these people fail to realize that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ who God sent so that the world may be saved.

Praise be to God through His son Jesus the Christ. Also, the Jews chose to murder all of their prophets, and God was willing to let that happen, even after making them wander in the desert for 40 years.

So this is what I know. I know what nazism is, and I now it alive and well. Nazism never was destroyed, instrad, it is destroing Israel right now, killing it's dignity. No one wants to take responsability to think, yet all wants the credits fir victories they didnt achieve. Nazi will kill. They are winning and the only way to stop them is vey well known. But no one has corage to do it, because everybody have lied their entire lives to bulid a reputation of good person, so the can prey on those who chose to help the others. The billionaires of this word are FINANCING nazism. They have infinite resources. So yes, I am in contril of my intelligenxe, but not of he cobsequences of my actions, for I know what to do and how to do it, I was born to lead, but I am surrounded by people that are devoided of any value. And this empty void I can't fill with no glory.

There was this stupid book once, best seller, preaching that to lead is to serve. Well, they have coaches for leader, telling incompetent people, and without a clue what a true leader does, what he thinks, which are the qualities of a leader. Leders don't serve. Leaders command. The true leader was born this way, and a good one is the one who does the right thing. The leader is the brave one, its to him to know what to do, not to persuade others to do it. He is the one who refuses to lead when is necessary, for the only one a natural born leader trusts is himself. Hes the only one who understands himself. And a true leader, not an authorithy, a leader, never betray himself.
