Not every issue was here, if the Xbox controller wasn’t paired on the Xbox for a few months/ years it won’t pair When u hold the button it will blink as if u are pairing it the only way it works is either connecting it using a USB A to lightning or to go on Xbox and update it

That Xbox controller wasn't paired in around 7 months (notice the dust). Was able to pair no issues

So you have to turn on the sync button like which he said the button on the top and press that and on your Xbox there is a thing button to on the bottom of the Xbox turn power button and there is a small button with arrows with three spots press that and it’ll keep blinking and blinking and it’ll connect back
