How to Connect Your iPhone with Your Nexar Dashcam

I had trouble pairing my iPhone with my very first Nexar dashcam when I first got it, so I decided to make an easy-to-follow guide on how to deal with the basic obstacles that new users might find challenging.
This guide does not include the latest model, Nexar One. Apparently, Nexar treats it differently from the rest of its products (it might have a different technology underneath), so I don't fully recommend following this if you have a Nexar One.
Although I used a Nexar Beam in this video, I have tested through time and experience that almost all the older generation Nexar dashcams follow the same basic steps on pairing. I own several of their products.
If you want to more accurate information, you can check out Nexar's guide. I can't paste the link here since KZbin's not allowing me for some reason. But you can Google Nexar Help Center and search "Pairing Your Nexar Dash Cam" in their search tool.
I'm using an iPhone running iOS 16.3.1 and a Nexar app running Version 6.4.1 during the creation of this video.

This video was just enough to help me get my camera connected. My App never instructed me to click the camera twice. It would just keep searching for the camera and would never find it. I went ahead and clicked the camera power button 2x after it started searching and then it would finally find it. All good and working after that. I had 2 cameras with this same issue on multiple phones. THANK YOU!

The no internet connection continues to pop up even after I disconnect WiFi and turn it back on. Any help?

@@SkullFreakProduction I kinda figured out what’s going on with my Nexar Pro and thanks to Nexar assistance name Luigi in Nexar App. 1st: I updated my Nexar app(which it is easy) but updating the dash cam is long and weird installing process(I have to go back and forth with home WiFi and Nexar WiFi). 2nd: I pressing the power button 9 times until I hear “Press the power button to restore the factory” and restored it. 3rd: (If you have a iPhone) I go to general > transfer or reset iPhone > select network settings to reset. 4th: Once your iPhone turns on itself and you see your Nexar dash cam on with blinking blue light, go to WiFi connection and select your Nexar WiFi. Once Nexar Dash cam blue light stop blinking, Go to your Nexar App and be sure that your Nexar device connects your iPhone then press stream. ***Remember you need to start your vehicle and leave it on until your dash cam works properly like you wanted. I know it’s going to waste your gas but it’s better than nothing. I hope this helps to you all.
