Hey Cobber, I have the same vhf setup on my new jetski that I had on my old one. The fixed unit is a GME gx750 and the handheld is a uniden 5w model

What would be cool would be if it allowed you to view different screens on an ipad - then you could double your screen space - sonar on ipad and charts on HDS - split the screens :) Maybe a future update.

@@GCJetskiFishing Thinking about this some more ... I have seen many videos where people have multiple units and display whatever they want on each. If the app let you do this to an ipad, it would eliminate the need for a second head unit - ipad would be WAY cheaper, but Lowrance would lose potential sales of more units - something that I am sure they would never want. So while this would likely be a very easy update to the app, I doubt they would ever actually do it :(

I'm not entirely sure, I will have to try it some time. You might be able to use your mobile phone as a hotspot or something similar?

Yes mine is a 12, you just go into screen setup and choose your own
