I love it. Right now for mine ive decided to use info. sheets of things like 10 penney batteries, schematics for potato battery and lemon battery, Van Degraaff generator kids instructions, and basics of magnetism. I think those would be a plus for a steam punk journal. Botany and insects too. Something to really sink your teeth into. Things you dont see every day. Take care, be safe.

Loved the use of wire in both instances. I agree that the gilding wax brought that emblossed Tim Holtz pocket to an amazing metal look. I was concerned at first when I saw that the rivets were close to the binding edge in Part 1, but pleased that you were able to fit the binding holes between them. Some great ideas presented here, and the journal looks terrific!

LOVE THIS!! The copper wax really adds that metallic touch and the paper elements match perfectly!! I noticed when you originally put the striped page with the envelope on it, you had the envelope on the left side (check out near the beginning of the video), then after you punched the holes, you had the striped page on the right, that is why the envelope was upside down. All you had to do was flip the page over lol. But then I was thinking, if you were unable to remove the key to reposition it, you could punch holes on the other side for the binding, then lace some wire or leather or something through the “wrong” holes to make a decorative edge! Either way this journal is AWESOME!! Can’t wait for part 3!!

Oh my you've come up with some cool ideas, love the corset type wire holder, I thought nah you don't need a knot just wrap it around a couple of times that will hold it... Ha ha!! 😁😁❤️ And the TH slot thingy that looked awesome... I loved that🌹😁 It's looking really cool xx Just a little FYI... The wire on the envelope closure, you might find after a bit of use it could snap... The more you bend wire it weakens it so just be careful as it could be very sharp if it snaps!! Wire is a fickle thing...🤔🤔 just thought I would warn you 😁 Love your journal my lovely!! ❤️🌼

Put ribbon through the holes on the page that you put the holes on the incorrect side. You can then put the holes on the other side!

Thanks again, Jackie! I know, the Art Glitter Glue is expensive with the shipping here to Europe as well, which is why I hope the bottle with the metal tip will also work with tacky glue! I now use this mostly in collaging because it’s so easy to use.

How do you enlarge on the digital collage club, I don't see where to do that or change the percent....thanks, I can't wait to start my steam punk journal.💕💕💕

Hi Marybeth. That would be in your print settings. When you click to print the page you can set it to print it at any percentage.

Does that copper wax come off easily after you put it on? Or is it permanent?
