How to contact your professors before GKS-G application? | GKS-G | Indian in Korea

The contacting professor is for STEM students right. I am from bussiness background so, even if I contacted professor. What should I mention like my abilities and skills and how much I am capable for the scholarship something like that. Do let me know because I am sending out the package for university track before the deadline 31st March 2024. So it would be very helpful if you reply because when I researched that why most of the students contact is because for lab. And I am from a bussiness background and applying for masters in business only.

It doesn’t matter. I know people who are from fashion and design background and they have still contacted professors and even got response from them. You can’t mention in the first mail about how you are capable of scholarship or not. You can mention that you want to learn under them about a certain area of study and how you can be beneficial for their work as well. But I don’t think it’s the right time to contact professors when it’s already close enough to the deadlines. Rest sending out the CV and cover letter can work for any other field of study too. It just depends on how well you can connect your past work, future interests with professors work and field of interest.

Are you asking about mailtrack? It can be installed from the same website and then every mail that you draft you need to “insert from Mailsuit” I think the name has been changed to mailsuit, I’ve just checked now on my phone’s mail box.

Hiii!! I know it can be confusing, you can get it on your college letter head as it will have the details of your university too (like in address affiliated with so and so university). So you need to just get it on your college letter head, get it signed by your principal and your principal’s stamp should there. Then it’s equally valid. Even I submitted mine in the same way. If you college have a director, or vice principal or someone who comes after them to sign and stamp on such academic documents you can take their signature and stamp. Like someone who is head of examination cell or maybe head of your department. Any senior person who holds authority to make your document authentic will do! 💕💕✨✨🙌🏼🙌🏼

You can request her politely for an acceptance letter. If she can provide you an acceptance letter it will be easier for your application to stand out and be more stronger than the rest.

@ if you got the letter from your professor, chances are high that you will get accepted. Still depends on your interview and other things too but definitely going through University track for this university will be your best option. Hello! Yes you have to do as exactly how guidelines states. Since the rules for LOR stays the same you can follow same as 2024. Form 5 and your LOR should be signed, stamped and kept together in one envelope. Then the envelope should be sealed and it should be signed from the back flap. Your LOR is valid till 6 months, so don’t worry if you get it in December it will still work. Good luck for your application. 🍀🍀✨✨🙌🏼🙌🏼💕💕

Hii! You don’t need to check the plagiarism in recommendation letter. But you need to get it on the letter head of your college and get it stamped and signed from your professor. It’s okay you can reach out to him again. He also knows that you cannot just attach an email like that in your documents. Instead you can ask him is it okay that you attach this mail as a referral letter along with your documents or will be possible to get an acceptance letter on a letter head and then adding with the documents. @ You’ve to get the signature on form as well as the Recommendation letter as it’s mentioned clearly in the guidelines. Otherwise, it will not meet the requirement. But still to be more sure I would recommend to read the section specifically to the recommendation letter and proceed accordingly as I haven’t checked the guidelines recently. But when I applied I took my professor’s signature on both form 5 and the letter.

If you can get it converted on 4.0 scale and get it on your university’s letter head with principal’s signature and stamp I think it will make the job much easier and convenient for you and evaluators. Hello!!🌸🌸If you are applying for a master’s degree through GKS then you cannot submit your master’s degree transcript. People who are applying for Ph.D program should submit the master’s degree since in your case you are going to apply for master’s you should submit the transcripts and degree from your bachelor’s. Because of this reason it is advisable to not to mention about your master’s in your SOP as it will contradict your statements and might have a negative impact on the application. If you can justify why you want to pursue a double master’s then you can but still that will be quite a risky approach for GKS. Good luck for your application. 🙌🏼🙌🏼💕💕

You can use scholaro website to convert your grades. Make a word document and paste all the conversions of all the semesters. Send it to your college and request them to give it to you on college letter head. Get it signed and stamp by your principal and submit the original one with other documents.

You can convert your grades online on Scholaro website. Create a word file that mentions all your semester subjects, grades, and their credits. I think you can mention in your study plan about your professor’s work. How you’re interested in their work and how you wish to work under his guidance and work. You can relate your research interests with professors’s. When you apply to your university at that time you can notify that professor that you’ve applied so that he can be vigilant. Since you want to apply in Feb 2025 I think you have enough time and you can request professor for an acceptance letter as it would greatly help you in getting the scholarship. For embassy track if you contact your professors from 3 different universities and somehow able to get acceptance letter from all of them, or even from anyone and then apply to all three universities then it won’t give a good impression to your profile and could be disadvantageous to your application. Mostly if people get acceptance letter from any professor they just apply via university track and it helps them a lot.

I would not suggest sending another follow-up mail. But you can contact other professors from same university and from other universities too.

A professor in the email responded that she will supervise my PhD. research but haven't provided an acceptance letter. If I mention this in my personal statement of GKS, will it increase my chances of acceptance?

Did you ask her for an acceptance letter? If not you can ask her. If asked and still she didn’t gave then you can mention in the Personal Statement, only if you are going to apply through University track. Good luck!🍀🤗❤️

In embassy track it’s not necessary to contact them. Mostly students from embassy track don’t contact professors.

Hello di I am going to apply for undergraduate this year and in my documents there a slight mistake in my mother's name as I am going to submit my mother's voter ID card as her Proof of citizenship but her name in my 12th marksheet is different from as voter ID cart should I have to fix it or not ???
