I just have to add another comment. This video is very helpful to me. I am 70...probably not the age group you expected to watch LOL. But I enjoy your videos especially the make-up tutorials. You did an excellent, easy to understand, video. I’m going to practice this! I could really see a difference in your before & after shots. Also, I agree that it’s awesome all the products are from drugstores. Tip: I use coconut oil as a make-up remover. Love it! Works especially well for older (ugh) drier (ugh) skin! Hey Mikayla! I wish I could help you with your question, but I really have no idea :( Check out some other tutorials from people who have a similar skin tone, use the products they mention, but use the methods I've used in this video. Sorry I was totally useless haha

Hey Suzanne! I use contour to add a darker shade to define my face and I use bronzer to add a little more warmth to my face. Hope that helped!!

I like the tip about taking the contour shade and bringing that line down from the ear to the jaw (I haven't heard that one yet but I'm going to try it). I also feel like I look I look ridiculous when I attempt to bake, right under the contour, so I'm def going to give this a go.

I have a roundish face, I lost some weight so now I'm not sure what my actual face shape is but I usually do the number three shape on each side with contour and bronzer and a bit on the edge of my entire hairline bc I have a big forehead (I've only used powder bronzer and contour so far) but that downward angle tip for is great! I never love how highlight looks on me when I do it the 'traditional' way. I'm gonna try that next time to see how it works for me. Dulce de Leche is awesome BTW and the Elf bronzer quads too. Love them. I also use precious petals even tho it's a bit dark for my skin I can still work with it. Edit: just tried this in the middle of the night with just powder contour, blush, and highlight) bc I can't sleep so I play around with my makeup 😊 and I really like the results.

As a makeup artist you do not want to bring concealer down in the long triangle it’s going to make your cheeks heavier! You highlight what you want to stand out ..round faces do not want their cheeks to stand out! Going out and up makes your face lift vs droop and look like your cheeks are heavier!! You don’t have to go too far out if you don’t prefer but do not go down!!! Most all makeup artists will tel you this!

I do my contour exactly like this except I put a dot of highlighter at the tip of my nose and above my top lip...sometimes I add it to the inside corner of my eyes and browbone as well. Depends on how “fancy” I wanna be that day. Lol. Great video pretty lady!

The main difference I see with public vs. Private Art school is the visiting Artist, critics and lecturers. The private schools most often have more prestigious teachers etc. This helps with building networks dir after school.
