As a matter of terminology, the only way to get topspin is to top the ball, hit the upper half of the ball with the leading edge of the club.

Topspin on a golfball is a myth. You cannot put topspin on a golfball with a lofted club unless you strike it above center with the blade.

This is fantastic video and very clearly explained. Its actionable which is exactly what golfers need! The last thing we need is a theoretical semantics debate about topspin. Whether there's actual Top Spin or not the ball is rolling out! So maybe in the technical views of this it's not that it's creating topspin but it's lacking backspin in reality. Yet after years of looking for a simple video about this this is the only one I've ever seen that actually explains HOW to do this. If you have a better video that you have made I'd love to see it.

You should say side spine to achieve a draw (with top spin the ball will not go far and hook down into the ground rapidly).The topspin myth and golf balls has been disproven scientifically.
