Sharing my Observations - 1. The scale of the PDF plotted has to be 1:1. PDFs printed at NOT TO SCALE poses multiple challenges to bring it to near 1:1 2. Every element is broken into fragments. so re-aligning and adjusting is as good as re-drafting. 3. Yes, it gives us good reference to redraft which is saviour in itself

If that pdf file created in full adobe version it will be convert in pdf because full adobe versions have layers option it will take AutoCAD layers also when anyone create PDF...

Ok so same thing happened to me. I got that same error. All I did to fix it was just drag the actual file from my desktop into AutoCad and it worked no problem.

It was not a problem with your version it's a problem of pdf file if that pdf file created in full adobe version it will be convert full adobe pdf convert PDF with AutoCAD layers...
