How to convert Volvo HID to LED! This is a 2012 s60. Works for other Volvo models.

Isn't there a lever in that housing that rotates the locking mechanism for that bulb? Rotate for out and rotate to lock it in. Let me know if that worked without the right stuff.

No there’s not. Until you do it yourself know this, I pride myself on my integrity and going above and beyond. No one else took the time to do this video so I did. There is a large spring that grips the housing of the HID bulb. There’s no lever. If you watch the video, you can clearly sev that I pull the bulb out of the large spring style retainer (I even sent an email to the company I bought the bulbs and suggested they make some sort of universal adapter for these applications); I wouldn’t embarrass myself by posting a video showing my stupidity. I intentionally made this video to help out Volvo owners that are tired of replacing expensive HID bulbs because there is not one other video out there that shows this year make and model Volvo doing the HID to LED conversion. I challenge you to find one video or even a pdf tutorial that shows someone or documents this conversion on this kind of Volvo with HID headlights being converted to LED headlights. Do you except the challenge or are you just a keyboard warrior? If you find one, please let me know how you did so myself and the customer can do better research.
