No green bean casserole? Goodness thats my favorite holiday dish and its all just green beans and mushrooms and onions, love this but if you arent having green bean casserole you are missing out friend! This video was great, definitely gonna be swiping some of these recipes for this year's Thanksgiving but definitely adding my own green bean casserole! I also love how you show yourself eating and enjoying the food at the end of your videos, its very satisfying to see that idk why, most recipe videos dont! Lastly- that is the only way to properly plate a Thanksgiving plate!

"Leave the turkey alone" Yes! VEGAN MOTIVATION: Went vegan at 13, not rich, non vegan family, and still vegan 3 years later. If I can do it, so can you! Vegan KZbinr btw

Bro that's awesome. Good work! And thats so true, anyone can do it. It's really not expensive (meat is expensive! beans, lentIls, and tofu are not!), and it's really not that difficult. Keep doing what you're doing and the world will be a better place. I wish I would have made the decision to go vegan when I was your age!

My mom use to add bacon bits on macaroni and cheese. You can get that vegan bacon flavored seasoning. The bacon flavor tastes great with mac 'n cheese.

I know you pulled back from making videos, but I am still referring to this one and sharing it with others. I hope you are doing well. "Into the dome!"

Does the coconut flavor of the coconut cream come through strongly when used in the mashed potatoes or mac n cheez? I feel like it would compliment the sweet potatoes but worry about the flavor being weird in the savory dishes? Just curious. Everything looks great!!
@dawsonwatkinsofficial4 жыл бұрын
It does not! As long as you add the salt and the rest of the ingredients. You can always sub any vegan heavy cream you want - cashew, soy, etc. and thank you! 🌱

@@dawsonwatkinsofficial ok thank you, good to know! I can't wait to try some of these recipes! Also, I am impressed at the sheer volume of dishes you made for this video... I host Thanksgiving because I am the only one in my family who cooks, so I'm used to juggling multiple dishes... but this is #goals ! 😄

I love all your recipes.. but I have to comment on that gravy. My dear, no no no no please don’t tell me that’s how you normally make gravy? You can get plenty of flavor in 15 minutes opposed to 50 minutes and that’s after straining it as well. I’m just hoping to pass on a tip but it is just my opinion on a smooth gravy 🤷🏼♀️ do you though, you’re a great cook

I’m also a stickler for Yukon gold potato’s. I’ll just keep all my other person opinion tips in this thread I made here haha. No shade, I promise, your recipes are great I just wanna share some other techniques ☺️💁🏼♀️

If you want a good garlic mashed that doesn’t taste like just garlic, his cooking style is fine but add like 2 or 3 cloves of garlic as opposed to a quarter cup lol that’s gotta be like a whole garlic knob, no?? Or 2? Haha. All to taste, friends
