Senegalese DiBi/diby is a perfect finger food that absolutely delicious, recommended for when you have friends over for game night or just for you and the family! Enjoy with cold beer or home made lemonade!
Ingredients for baking lamb:
1 pound of lamb cut into bite-size pieces
1/2 tablespoon of finely minced garlic
1/2 tablespoon of finely minced ginger
1 Teaspoon of finely minced scotch bonnet pepper
1 tablespoon of Kosher salt
1/4 tablespoon of black crushed crushed
1/2 a tablespoon of smoked paprika
1and 1/2 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
1 medium-size red onion finally minced
1 teaspoon full of olive oil
Mix well, marinate for 1 hour, bake for 90 mins at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, then grill for 2 mins on each side of lamb pieces till crispy outer layer is obtained.
Ingredients for dip:
All Drippings from baking lamb
1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
4 drops/ or 1/2 teaspoon of pure honey
Whisk well till combined and pour half of dip on to one medium onion and green bell pepper (sliced into bite size pieces) and grill for about 2 mins till charred and caramelized, plate, and enjoy!
