Oumar marinates his lamb and onions in two different kinds of mustard, before searing them off and serving them with greens and fresh bread. I remember Oumar, he was featured in one of munchies videos. He is a hard working and adventurous man with talent. Travel across the world honing his skills, sacrificed a lot for his dream, he is a great inspiration. Everything he cooks looks delicious and I hope, since he is so wholesome, that sooner or later he gets some more media attention, what a contrast between him and some celebrity chefs!! Dibi looks delicious btw

I was born in Dakar, Senegal I left when I was 8 years old and to this day I remember eating Thieboudienne, and Mafe.

When we visited Dakar dibi was my daughter's favorite meal. Senegal is a beautiful country with beautiful people can't wait to go back 🇸🇳

It's a Senegalese garb. It's usually made by measurements. Other West African and Central African countries also have these sorts of outfits that come with similar pants

There's so many parts of the world that surely have delicious foods, this is another that I don't think I've seen much about. Hopefully I get to travel some day, even if it's just to some city in the US that has a bunch of diverse chefs with food trucks or restaurants.

Haha "Jolof" is what we used to call our country before it became Senegal, so it's literally Senegalese rice ;)
